iggi do you mean like an electric blanket for the sofa, to snuggle under? If so I got one for DM two years ago in Aldi for £30. She loves it, it's washable and cream on one side brown the other, got a timer and thermostat. They had them last year too, so keep your eyes peeled.

Florist's ribbon comes in massive rolls and is thick and strong. Pretty sure you can buy some in Hobbycraft but not sure how own big their rolls go

Fireman Sam toy sets tend to be in the sainsbury toy sale on the 19th October. The fire engine from that gets a lot of playing with here. We also have a playmobil 123 set but the fire engine is quite small. It does have a take along firestatjon that's quite nice in the set. Re duplo - zoom in on the side of the box and it says how many pieces. They might be tiny of course, but it gives you an idea.
