Lego friends advent calendar down to £14.50ish on Amazon

Also anyone with a child into Lego elves, Ragana's shadow castle down to less than £55, 27% off rrp. Pleased with my saving as it's the one thing she has asked for. Smile

Wiifitmama · 24/09/2016 17:54

I have just come back from real life shopping in TK Maxx. They had lots of Nintendo figures for around £5. They were posable little figures like Mario with accessories. They also had Harry Potter trivial pursuit sets for around £8. And near the check out, I picked up a tube of 3 juggling balls that when stacked made a snowman. They were super cute and around £3. Great for a stocking filler.

duzzlightyearsmum · 24/09/2016 17:58

Vino thanks for that. She already has the house so thought the Vtech castle would be good as the figures will work with both but the Fisher Price one is very nice. I may wait until Black Friday, I seem to recall I got the house on a Black Friday deal last year! Will give the The Hut code a go

Thanks for red subscription tip, just got for best friend's birthday. Can someone patiently explain to my sleep deprived self when I need to cancel the direct debit though! Six months from now or six months after the first edition? Thanks Grin

Wiifitmama · 24/09/2016 18:23

Thank you for the landsend code too. I just ordered some great slippers on there in the sale as well as some pewter tree decorations. They are personalised ones but it would appear that are not offering personalisation now. But its fine as there is a space where it would go and I plan to use a gold paint pen to add a name. They were a total bargain with the sale and extra 30% off. Less than £5 each! I buy these type of decorations for the kids each year and pay three times as much usually.

Need to find a decent leather wallet for my dad, and also a leather flip case for Samsung s7... Both in brown/tan, genuine leather. Anyone spotted anything recently? Grin

lozabella · 24/09/2016 18:32

Long time lurker and soon to be proud owner of an Argos Unicorn!!Grin

lozabella · 24/09/2016 18:33

I've just done a 3 for 2 Argos order but really wanted a Barbie Mermaid for DD, but didn't want to pay £20. Any bargains about? And are they any good?! DD is nearly 3.

Polyanthus · 24/09/2016 18:39

Was in home bargains today and saw they had some medium sized unicorns for a tenner. Their website says they are 23" . They come in pink and purple so might be useful if you are buying for siblings and want to differentiate.

Romcom · 24/09/2016 18:46

If anyone out there has a Boden voucher they aren't going to use, I'd be forever grateful Flowers

CarrotVan · 24/09/2016 18:46

Cosy - have you looked at Debenhams? They have some wallets on offer. House of Fraser clearance might also be worth a look

MooseyMoo · 24/09/2016 18:59

GreyerbytheDay Thank you so much for the tip on Lego Elves Ragana Castle. DD is loving Lego at the moment and has asked for any Lego Elves for Christmas Xmas Smile

I got a camel alert for Monsters High DracuLaura Ghoul to Bat half price at £12.49

MooseyMoo · 24/09/2016 19:01

My tip if you need to check on Lego set prices is look at Brickset as they do a list of all reductions on Amazon

SestraClone · 24/09/2016 19:07

Looking for a gift for a woman in her 50s, around £20, something a bit unusual maybe? Any help or ideas would be much appreciated!

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 24/09/2016 19:07

Lozabella do you mean the Barbie mermaid with the tail that lights up? I got that from Argos last week for £15, it was the cheapest I'd seen it for a while. I imagine once the 3 for 2 is over the price might come back down again.

TwigTheWonderKid · 24/09/2016 19:09

What Land's End code? Please?

CoshPunt · 24/09/2016 19:15

Carrot - thanks for that! Grin Managed to spot a wallet that had 50% off, have ordered. Now just the phone case to find!

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 24/09/2016 19:15

Liked the idea of juggling balls so went on Amazon and found
juggling poo

CarrotVan · 24/09/2016 19:18

Sestra - there was a nice Burt's Bees gift set in their sale for £19 or you could put together a hamper from the Arran Aromatics sale (candle, diffuser, hand cream) with some chocolate, a book (or colouring book and crayons), some cosy socks...

CarrotVan · 24/09/2016 19:20

Has anyone seen any nice sponge bags for men or should I hold out for the Boots offers?

RoastieToastieReastie · 24/09/2016 19:23

Inyourhonour I think there's a free delivery Disney store code in the link post.

Boa I also bought that bleach! I'm not impressed though as it smells bleachy but not Christmassy to me.

I have a free build a bear voucher too but no one to buy for and DD really doesn't need one. Maybe I should stash.... Does it come in the special box house as well? That would look like a good gift wouldn't it. It would also involve a special trip especially to a big shopping centre though.

Twig AUTUMN30 will give you 30% off and it includes sale items Smile

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 24/09/2016 19:33

reastie you can use the code online and you get the box when you order it (flat packed for easy Christmas storage!)

For anyone who's children are obsessed with mashems argos have the pony, princess, paw patrol, frozen in the 3 for 2. Amazon have batman, finding dory in stock for 2.99 each and littlest pet shop for £3.49. Wilko have paw patrol, finding dory, princess, my little pony, and teenage mutant ninja turtles 2.99 each Grin

Wilko have lots of blox sets on offer some look really good a ferris wheel for £7 was the one I was tempted by - normally a strict lego branded house!

Oh and thank you to the poster a few threads back who recommended the dolltopia book - its fantastic dd (7) is devouring it as we speak (reward for moving up a reading level at school) highly recommend! bonus of buying secondhand was it coming from Toronto library and being signed by the author - dd thought this was very exciting!

VerticalCheese · 24/09/2016 19:34

I caved. I ordered a Robert much to OH protests.

Apersonwithnoname · 24/09/2016 19:35

IT was TQToys, thanks. Flowers

But also noticed on Amazon Melissa and Doug pizza reduced to £9.59 from £15.99. It was £12 in tkmaxx so reckon that's a good price. Can't link from iPad.
