Rubbish title but I'm off to bed in a min (it's been one of those days).

As usual links are on post two.

If I've missed anything good (which could be very likely as I'm getting back to work mode atm) let me know.

They also usually do at least one period of free delivery during the code active time period.

TheImprobableGirl · 17/09/2016 22:45

Ohhhhh fuck. I've just bought 2 45cm unicorns.... .... ... Wine has been consumed, I've started thinking of them as family members...
What will dp say?! Grin

TheImprobableGirl · 17/09/2016 22:45

Even worse, it was 45 INCHES ?!?

leesmum · 17/09/2016 22:47

RJnomore1 · 17/09/2016 22:51

I'm going to have to post a photo of dd abd Robert tomorrow just so you can all weep about where you're keeping yours 😂

TWO you say improbable

Do you have a spare room?

Thingywhatsit · 17/09/2016 23:05

I see rushed extension plans, large garden sheds with cosy interiors or room swaps happening!!!!!!!! Nevermind where you are putting them - what will you be naming them?????? If you need suggestions I am sure we can help!

TheImprobableGirl · 17/09/2016 23:07

RJ I don't even have a spare seat st the dining table....

I suspect one will be called Luna, dd2's will probably be biscuit or something odd.

I shall post a photo when they are delivered Grin

TheImprobableGirl · 17/09/2016 23:08

At least you'll be able to see the difference between me and theimpossiblegirl

Essentially I need the tardis

RJnomore1 · 17/09/2016 23:09

The box is massive. About the size of. Postbox but taller if I remember rightly.

TheImprobableGirl · 17/09/2016 23:10

I shall have to start hiding you as a poster if you carry on... Wink

Oreocrumbs · 17/09/2016 23:12

2!........ I hope you stocked up on bargain wrapping paper in the January sales! Grin

TheImprobableGirl · 17/09/2016 23:12

I would like to hear tales of how much dc love them!! Plus I've always been awful at carnival games, so it's unlikely giant soft toys will be a future fixture in our lives

toastymarshmallow · 17/09/2016 23:16

Oh God the unicorn is giving me twitchy fingers.

I would need two.

Thankfully we do have a big enough house and a spare room. But I am not sure if I can justify the £60.

Will they still like them after a week?

TheImprobableGirl · 17/09/2016 23:16

I am flouncing up to bed... Please let there be an overwhelming bargain tomorrow eg blenders that takes my stupidity away.

Also if anyone sees any bargain unicorn Christmas hats then I'd be very grateful Grin

RJnomore1 · 17/09/2016 23:19

Is that hats FOR the unicorns? 😂

Wondermoomin · 17/09/2016 23:20

Thread 7 - the one where we all need to build stables for our unicorns? Grin

TheImprobableGirl · 17/09/2016 23:26

Yes! I can't have them land on the bottom of dd's bunk beds on Christmas Eve with no Christmas hats?! Heridan.

On the very much a plus side- can you imagine their little faces waking up in the early hours with a big Christmas unicorn staring back Grin

Thingywhatsit · 17/09/2016 23:27

😄😄😄😄 Richard and Ronald (names for future unicorns!) have already started planning application so you'll fit them in!

Oh bugger I bought a giant unicorn. DH was egging me on and what with the wine and all that I caved.

But I couldn't click and collect as they were OOS at my local store so it's coming by post. How?! It'll be stabled in the loft til Christmas but I'm worried how I'll hide it from DD when the postie comes knocking with a mahoooosive box. Is it true it's as tall as a post box?! Uh oh Grin

cookiefiend · 18/09/2016 00:56

Hahaha- if it wasn't over budget I would buy my two nieces a unicorn each just out of badness. The pleasure of watching the joy on their faces and the horror an SIL and BILs faces would almost make the two hour car journey with two unicorns strapped to the roof of the car worth it.

SelfieStick · 18/09/2016 06:29

Strapped to the roof of the car, hahaha!

I'm so happy I provided that link now as the unicorns are proving to be comedy gold.

Xmas Grin
Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 18/09/2016 07:29

I am desperate for a unicorn for myself. I actually have a tab open with a unicorn on and have shown DH in the hope he'll surprise me. WTF is wrong with me? I need a daughter to justify such purchases Sad we have a giant teddy already
