Rubbish title but I'm off to bed in a min (it's been one of those days).

As usual links are on post two.

If I've missed anything good (which could be very likely as I'm getting back to work mode atm) let me know.

yummymummycleo · 15/09/2016 21:54

Boden code A6V2

Darkswan · 15/09/2016 21:55

Jakesmommy I am still waiting for iwoot to refund too. I contacted then and asked for a refund immediately, they replied with a no reply email address saying they don't take payment until they dispatch, but they did, so i have opened a dispute through paypal.

woodwaj · 15/09/2016 21:55

If i remember rightly amazon prime was discounted during black friday? I have been waiting for them to reduce it since and they havent as yet. If they do ill be cancelling our monthly plan and rebuying!

Ive also been watching unboxing videos on you tube of mystery boxes. How sad am i. I NEED ONE! Grin

WuTangFlan · 15/09/2016 21:59

The playmobil police car linked to above was just coming into my local Tesco today, £5 but in store only. They also had the minifigure blind bags on BOGOF.

user1471531855 · 15/09/2016 22:05

My local boots had playmobil fire chief car in for £8 and the fire engine in for £23 if that's any help

neddle · 15/09/2016 22:06

I know that before Prime Day Hmm they reduced the price of Prime, so maybe they do it before Black Friday as well, I don't remember as I've never paid for it.

WuTangFlan · 15/09/2016 22:10

Argos also had some Playmobil deals:

Noah's Ark half price

£20 off Goldmine

£30 off Agent HQ

PLaymobil 123 Police & Ambulance set half price

Red Serpent Pirate Ship half price - this is amazing but i seem to recall friend spending half a day sorting the rigging out for first play...

Catanddogmake6 · 15/09/2016 22:20

Another one awaiting refund from IWOOT. To be honest am seriously underwhelmed by them. The blender aside (as I have some although not a lot of sympathy about that) I ordered five other items but three of them were cancelled. I had despatch notices for items that were then cancelled and no despatch notices for things that finally showed up today. The money was taken straight away from PayPal. They have refunded all but the blender but won't use them again. Oh and will pursue for the blender money.

HungryHorace · 15/09/2016 22:25

IWOOT have pissed me off too. I tried to cancel everything once the blenders were cancelled, but couldn't. Though it wasn't clear whether they'd cancelled my whole order, so I asked. They came back with a very unspecific email which suggested it was, but then I got a dispatch email and a parcel has now arrived. I've told them I want them to take it back without charge as they're useless. No response yet.

On an up note...I've just joined Amazon Student as I start my Masters soon. Lovely stuff!

CuriosityWinsTheDay · 15/09/2016 23:09

Had anyone seen any good deals on Equestria dolls or any MLP stuff?

confuugled1 · 15/09/2016 23:18

A reminder that the M&S 20% off code is still valid...

I've just bought a bottle of perfume for £32, added the free manicure tool thing worth £40, 2 sets of schools socks (not even 2 weeks into term and already the sock monster has eaten most of them it seems. If only ds2 spent as much time looking for his socks and remembering not to take them off in random places at random times and tucking them into random corners as he does theorising as to where the sock monster lives, how it eats the socks and does he have ketchup on them, and if it's having a growth spurt then I wouldn't need to buy more!) and the whole lot has cost me £34 instead of £85 Xmas Grin

Unfortunately the nails inc pedi set mentioned on here earlier that was £24 instead of £70 or something like that is out of stock - despite it being still heavily promoted one of their top beauty offers.

Hoping that it might come back into stock - in which case I'll get another manicure thing for free, and just use something like nail files or nail scissors for a couple of pounds to take it over the £25 barrier to get the offer.

Code if you don't want to scroll back through the thread is SEPT16A17

confuugled1 · 15/09/2016 23:24

Snowbody Are you going to get one of the 💩 cushions to go with them ?!? Xmas Grin

poo emoji cushions, mini cushions, key rings, wallets and more...

Seems they even have girl and boy poo cushions, and several different poo expressions...

moonbabyandthebeast · 15/09/2016 23:25

confuugled1 · 15/09/2016 23:35

If anyone's looking to spend a couple of pounds to make up an Amazon order and they have young kids or grown ups I can highly recommend the Tom and Jerry A Nutcracker Tale DVD

It's currently only £2.64 and is a lovely dvd to have around Christmas. My dc have loved it since they were tiny and still loved it last year (10 and 7). It's a great dvd to have on in the background - the soundtrack is basically the Tchaikovsky Nutcracker Suite and the story is woven around Tom and Jerry getting involved in that story. There are lots of funny moments, classic Tom and Jerry hilarity so that even if you're not watching it per se it's easy to drop in and out of and still find it funny.

But best of all, because it has the music sound track and very little talking as with most T&J, it means you can put it on for your dc as a dvd to have on in the background, and there's music rather than incessant inane children's tv, plus you get to feel good because it's vaguely educational. I used to always take it with us on long car journeys to stick on the dvd in the car - while it was on it was a brief relief from having a soundtrack just behind my ears talking but not being able to see it - which I find really distracting if I'm trying to have a conversation with dh or listen to something on the radio! It's easier to zone out to the music than the voices.

SpecialK24 · 15/09/2016 23:57

From tesco today this Barbie £5 and Star Wars filled pencil case reduced to 25p perfect little stocking filler.

Love how I'm finding about boy stuff here (my baby is only 3 months old) and I only have nieces! Sooooo much choice tho .... Do you get mega blocks, duplo blocks, Thomas or normal, Lego.... Ha forgot what other kinds there are!!!

I've got £200 worth of stuff I NEED in my Amazon basket (my girl is only 18 months so don't really need it for a few more years yet) I get a little carried away seeing all this stuff on here.

Ginger4justice · 16/09/2016 06:45

The little tykes bath toys at the entertainer (25%) that MNHQ posted are low on stock. It would only allow me to order one, so I went digging. Amazon sells 3 for £15. I'm hoping they come in separate boxes so I can give them to all my Godsons, but I can report back if people are interested. 3 Set of Little Tikes Splash Fountain Bath Swim Activity Light & Spin Spray Toy www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01D3B7EFQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_Hs42xb3M0PFAR
