TheImprobableGirl - some of the Jawbones do come with only the clip, but you can get straps that fit from a lot of sellers on eBay and Amazon, they are a bit like phone covers. There are even necklaces and bracelets. The basic silicon straps are usually only a couple of pounds, just put your model in the search bar and you'll get loads of results.

And yes, if the box says no strap, I'd assume there's no strap!

Hi there, I've been following the Xmas boards since last year as a lurker, but registered this week 😄 does anyone know where I can get an American girl doll from in the UK?

My girls have been watching them on you tube channels and it's the only thing they've asked for this year!

I've looked through American sites, but don't know if I'd have to pay custom charges or import charges ?
Thank you!

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 07/09/2016 19:27

Ive just received a £10 off orders over £40 + free delivery from Emma Bridgewater - I won't use it so let me know if you'd like it. It's single use.

GerrardWinstanley · 07/09/2016 19:34

Norbert I'd say so. I think of tinc as a slightly less fluorescent Smiggle.

Pinkladymel · 07/09/2016 19:43

Improbable oh flip, I didn't read the box. Well that's out of order isn't it!? I'll have to contact them. Such a faff I could do without!

NorbertDentressangle · 07/09/2016 19:44

Thanks Gerrard, that's good to know as there are some good stocking bits for DS there.

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 07/09/2016 19:57

I'm not sure what the American girl dolls are but if you can buy on amazon.com you can use your uk log in details, it includes the custom/tax charges on checkout. I used them last year for paw patrol toys and it was very easy and came surprisingly fast considering it was December when I ordered! :)

ninjaturtlesmum · 07/09/2016 20:00

ItsNice - have pm'd you - would love the Emma Bridgewater code if it's still available

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 07/09/2016 20:02

Ninja no worries! Am about to PM you the code back Smile

user1471454524 · 07/09/2016 20:06

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts thank you I'll have a gander 😀

JustCallMeBaldrick · 07/09/2016 20:14

I think my jawbone box said 'strap available separately', but there was a strap I the box.

BurningGubbins · 07/09/2016 20:20

My husband bought the jawbone for now and just opened the box - the wristband is in there.

Phew, glad I have finally contributed - have bought loads from the thread, thanks to all!

BustingOut · 07/09/2016 20:23

If I continue to buy almost everything on here as I have been, then come Christmas I'm going to have a more meaningful relationship with my postman than my husband! !!Wink

I am looking for a wallet for my 18yr old. Don't really want to pay designer prices but looking for something nice for him. Any ideas?

TheHammaconda · 07/09/2016 20:39

20% off designer childrenswear at Little Sunflowers with XXB20. This includes sale items. UK delivery is free and they offer free gift wrapping. Some mega-bargain opportunities!

gingerbreadmanm · 07/09/2016 20:46

can probably pick a converse or superdry wallet up at a decent price.

next, new look and river island also worth a try. oh and asos.

gingerbreadmanm · 07/09/2016 20:50

a quick look on asos and they have river island and new look ones on too. usually free delivery from there.

tk maxx usually have good wallets as well.

Can anyone help? I have 17year olds girls to buy for - they're twins and still live at home sharing a room and they both work. Budget £10 each or so.

99percentchocolate · 07/09/2016 21:00

Thank you for the gardening and history recommendations Flowers
I really like the look of the studio gardening set.

haudy nyx brow gel from boots and a good brow brush from ebay.

Make up revolution at Superdrug would be great for 17 year old girls Haudyerwheesht. The fortune favours the brave palette is great and only £9.99. It's worth keeping an eye on the brand's website too as they often have sales on.

KitKatCHA · 07/09/2016 21:10

I've just ordered these Superhero capes and masks for £13.97 for all four, I'll split them and use for party gifts, although in reality probably my son will get them all Grin The reviews are fab on them too.

Just found out how to add pics too so expect lots more Wink
