Oooooh I'm getting a new niece or nephew soon, that sleep suit and toy looks adorable.

99% won't be strictly a bargain but my dad also loves gardening and history and for his birthday last month I found a lovely, well illustrated biography/history of capability brown in waterstones. It wasn't a random crap "you like gardening so I got you this" book it was properly interesting.

MrsCrimbo74 · 07/09/2016 10:41

I said last one, but these are lovely, unicorn slippers £4.49

Seagullslanding every store in our group lost their night shift Sad A few vacancies opened for days/twilight - all reduced hours. We either take redundancy just before Christmas, defer redundancy until January and work 20 hour contracts for them over Christmas with no say over the days and hours ('cause they're fucked if we don't) or we scrap it out for the new jobs, of which very few aren't total shite.

Anyone ordering Tesco online groceries over the next few months - I'd start looking to order later in the day/night. Most fresh teams are now being given only 1 hour to fill as much as they can before dot com starts picking at 6am, and that's only if deliveries are on time. They've got no chance.

Thank you all for the Flowers and kind words. I feel utterly lost and very scared. Hey ho. Onwards and upwards.

What if? Serious Scientific Answers to Absurd Hypothetical Questions book down to £3.85. Looks like an awesome stocking filler and the reviews are excellent.

Unicorn stickers £1.35 with free p+p.

I believe in humans unicorn badge £1.49 with free delivery.

Wooden noughts and crosses game £2.98 with free delivery.

Unicorn sticky mosaics works out at £5.31 with delivery. RRP is £9.99.

Unicorn colouring book £4.99 with free delivery for Prime members.

Haudyerwheesht · 07/09/2016 11:02

Pound world today had quite a lot of shopkins art sets, furby mashems, hot wheels cars.

They also have nice little sets of erasers with different animals including unicorns!

Oh and they had rainbow fairy story books too.

I just spent rather a lot on Amazon thanks to that 4 for £10 link Blush

4 books for the up coming niece or nephew (sometimes, pop up guess how much and stuff) 4 books for my lot and then since I was on there I completed dd's Sophie and the shadow woods collection, got a swallows and amazons ds1 has been asking for and generally got carried away buying books for them all. Will give them one each for now and put the rest away for Christmas. Christmas always involves a pile of books per child anyway so it isn't a waste right?

Bargain I just remembered, was in lidl this morning and they had some lovely wooden ink stamp sets for £3.99 so I snaffled a couple to pop in my present drawer as ds2 has just started reception so sure they will come in handy for parties.

I ordered these office signs for £1 from ebay - it's a set of 6 but BOGOF. I received them today and they're actually quite good, I thought the signs would be card but they are thin plastic and the handles are pretty solid. Good for novelty stocking fillers or office secret santa gift.

Was also linked to HEMA from somewhere else, it's a really cool shop, similar to Tiger but online. They have 15% off today only with code: UKWK3615 (advertised on their homepage)

DownHereInTheHorridHouse · 07/09/2016 13:05

I ordered a couple of handmade things on ebay on Monday - arrived the next day. The seller has the loveliest coin purses, pencil cases, etc - and she is also selling amazing bundles of the zipped purses at 5 for £5. they'd make lovely stocking fillers. It's free postage and I was really impressed.

Here is the link for 10 for £10:

(I'm not the seller by the way!)

I have been trying to order the 4 for £10 books from Amazon for a few weeks now but every time I put 4 in my basket and proceed to check out they just show at full price - am I doing something wrong?!

Have ordered the Laser Peg Rocket so far and the miniature train - I am so excited! Mermaid blanket next I think! (Have not told DH I am on this thread again this year yet...)

SolomanDaisy · 07/09/2016 13:28

When I ordered the books it was only when I got to the payment stage that it showed the discount.

OhHolyFuck · 07/09/2016 13:38

I'm so excited about this - baileys pumpkin spice, £14 each or 2 for £20 at tesco

Darkswan · 07/09/2016 14:22

OhHolyFuck

Omg! Is it in now?! I need this! This starts to make up for my tesco not selling maple whiskey anymore Sad

SnowBodyforrrrm · 07/09/2016 14:27

Another primark hit today. I got this tablet pillow stand with built in pocket for cables etc for £7. The checkout lady said they're selling fast and are likely to be hard to get hold of nearer Christmas. I'm going to take it out of the box and stuff it into my sons (9) stocking for when he's allowed his tablet in bed on a Saturday night!

OhHolyFuck · 07/09/2016 14:27

Darkswan I'm so glad someone else feels this way! Yes, it's in now, I may have done a tesco shop just for this! Well, that and some elderflower gin that's in the offer too
