Reindeer that's a lovely thing to do. A real Christmas morning 'dream come true'.

Talk to me about unicorn pyjama cases... The only one I can find is a knitting pattern to make your own and I'm no knitter.

Hadiever · 05/09/2016 23:50

Rainbow thank you. I will stalk all the nearby Argos stores in the hope they have oneSmile

Keepon123 · 05/09/2016 23:56

Thank you for advice itcouldbe x

How old is DD monkeyface?

The Sky-Watcher Infinity 76 is only £6 more on Amazon, possibly less elsewhere, and is supposedly the best starter telescope for children (and adults!)

Or for a more telescopy looking telescope I can highly recommend the Sky-Watcher Heritage 76, which I use with my DD (from age 5). She still needs a bit of help to find smaller objects, but can find and focus in on the moon and larger/brighter objects by herself.

Sorry no links, but they are on Amazon and should come up if you google them.

LittleReindeerwithcloggson · 06/09/2016 00:10

DDs friend has got a proper unicorn PJ case - will find out where she got it from. My DD has what is actually a unicorn hot water bottle cover! However the head, arms and legs are solid like a proper cuddly toy so Santa brought it with a pair of pyjamas in the middle instead of a hot water bottle. You would never know it wasnt a pj case! Think it might have come from primark

LittleReindeerwithcloggson · 06/09/2016 00:11

Legs I mean - don't think unicorns have arms?!!!

VinoTime · 06/09/2016 06:29

Well I've just been put on 45 days notice at work which means come Christmas, I'll very likely be unemployed Sad Their timing is spectacular.

Needing these Christmas bargains more now than ever!

jrek · 06/09/2016 06:59

Just looked up snap circuits- is there a difference between them as hot wires?

jrek · 06/09/2016 07:00

So sorry to hear that Vinotime

Haudyerwheesht · 06/09/2016 07:06

If anyone sees any novelty tea towels , particularly film/geeky ones, point me at them. Running joke with dh! Only ones I've seen so far were £7+ Shock

TheImprobableGirl · 06/09/2016 07:21

I've seen transfer paper cheap, maybe you could print out a photo of his face and iron it onto a wilkos tea towel?

WuTangFlan · 06/09/2016 07:45

They had some cheap 12 inch Star Wars figures at Argos:

here
also here - fairly sure these are right size based on Google image search

They have quite a few larger figures in the sale too.

WuTangFlan · 06/09/2016 07:45

^^ was for snowgirl1

AdmiralCLingus · 06/09/2016 07:52

Oh impossible I meant to tell you all I'd left.....

Not really.... they've got my soul now 😂

Okay a random one for early in the morning! My friend and I do a random gift each year. The rules are

It must be useful
It must be less than £5
It must confuse the receiver and not be immediately obvious what it is.

In past years she's been given the toothpaste squidger, a vegetable spiraliser that looked like a giant bolt, a weird Japanese octopus sweet thing and some other things I can't remember. Help me you amazing lot!!!!

purpleladybird · 06/09/2016 07:53

Vinotime Flowers

DocMartens I saw a couple on Matalan's website last night. Don't think they quite fit the bill but may be worth a look.

purpleladybird · 06/09/2016 07:57

Admiral How about an Orange Peeler

Just realised I didn't introduce myself and ask if it's ok to join. I have come over from her TTC boards (#1, no luck so far) so I feel a bit of a fraud being anywhere else Sad But I just love Christmas Xmas Smile

TheDrsDocMartens · 06/09/2016 08:11

Jessica78 · 06/09/2016 08:12
