VM are they any good? They look fab and I've got a very cutesy, Hallmark worthy image of me and DD making chocolates together in the lead up to Christmas as we sing along to Bing Crosby.

The reality will probably be burnt chocolate, a smokey kitchen, fire alarm blaring, DD in tears because the dog stole her spatula and me ripping out my hair as I cry into my wine glass, but a girl can hope!

VinoTime · 03/09/2016 21:29

LLM even. Doh!

LavateLasManos · 03/09/2016 21:31

I've found them really easy to use, I just melt Aldi chocolate in the microwave then pour in and leave to set in the fridge.
Have used them to make gifts for DC's teachers along with truffles, a cupcake and a gingerbread snowman.
Will try to find a picture if you want?

SolomanDaisy · 03/09/2016 21:43

Amazon have lots of Playmobil Super 4 stuff half-price.

ninjaturtlesmum · 03/09/2016 21:46

Thanks confuugled1 - an even better bargain at 60p :-)

OhHolyFuck · 03/09/2016 21:47

personalised children's chair at studio, was £30 now £8

drspouse · 03/09/2016 21:47

Place marking, worked out that the Lego we probably want is the Classic if anyone spots any sales. Or we'll get a bundle of second hand from eBay.
DS wants a remote controlled car (going to have to do some research) and we think it's time for a pedal bike (probably via FB selling pages).
Like the idea of superhero capes but beyond that no clue for DD who will be 2 1/2 or indeed anyone else!
Have decided we are not doing presents for some adults (they never reciprocate)
Still looking out for matching Christmas onesie and pyjamas.. But it sounds like Christmas prints might not be out yet.

TipBoov · 03/09/2016 21:57

Has anyone spotted a cheap trampoline? DS wants one for Christmas and I was hopin to find one in the summer clearance sales!

Ideally looking for 8ft

disneyprincesswannabe · 03/09/2016 21:57

After saying I will not be buying ds1 any Lego this year as our house is overflowing with the little bricks..... I have just gone and ordered the hulk buster set. Oh well he will be very happy thank you to who posted it

disneyprincesswannabe · 03/09/2016 21:59

Oh and to the pp wanting flamingos (I love flamingos too!) sainsburys had flamingo stationary in over the summer so may be in their reduced line now. Maybe not though, I don't tend to go in there very often to check

shentok · 03/09/2016 22:03

Playmobil have a new range of animal packs out and you can get flamingos! It's a family of them for about £7.

PaulineFowlersGrowler · 03/09/2016 22:05

Lego classic creative supplement bright £13.60 from 17.99
Lego classic creative supplement £11.60 from £17.99
Both from jadlam toys. Free postage on orders over £30
Some of the bigger sets can be bought for less elsewhere though - the large box is £27.99 in John Lewis and toys r us for instance

woodwaj · 03/09/2016 22:26

The trick with the chocolate moulds is to not put it in the fridge hot. Let it cool a little. You can also put edible glitter to the bottom of the moulds or popping candy etc! Ali express do moulds really cheap!

Justyou · 03/09/2016 22:34

Has anyone who ordered a shark bed received it yet? I ordered straight away but nothing yet, just checked and due by the 6th Sept but just wondered if anyone else had theirs yet as I ordered a phone case around that day too, that was due 8th sept but I got it over 2 weeks ago.

drspouse · 03/09/2016 22:43

Thanks banoffee.

Methenyouplus4 · 03/09/2016 22:52

Tip my local Tesco was selling off cheap Plum trampolines.

The go pro camera stuff- what exactly is it? I've read description but didn't quite understand. Is it equipment to he'll you film yourself doing a sport? Do you need a special go pro camera for it to be compatible? Could you not use (for example) a phone?

Catanddogmake6 · 03/09/2016 22:53

Sorry if already mentioned but the laser pegs rocket mentioned up thread on Groupon is in fact cheaper on ebay from the same seller. It's £5.98 inc delivery. Looked really good so thanks for heads up. Bought DD one.

Laser pegs

Catanddogmake6 · 03/09/2016 23:05

Sorry just got to end of thread - should of known you ladies would have been all over it.

BrollySmolly · 03/09/2016 23:09

Tip - I don't know about cheap trampolines, but I can highly recommend our tp genius2 trampoline with igloo door - there are no zips to worry about, which has been so much better!

Darkswan · 03/09/2016 23:15

I've forgotten who wanted a candy floss machine, but this one is £15. Very tempted to get it myself, dd1 would love it!

SheStoodInTheStorm · 03/09/2016 23:39

I am after the playmobil children's playground if anyone spots it cheap anywhere! All of my local Argos' are out of stock. Thanks!

Lots of good book offers on at The Works.

SheStoodInTheStorm · 04/09/2016 00:01

...and actually just Playmobil! Saw the Super 4 stuff (thanks) but not quite suitable.

flumposie · 04/09/2016 00:43

My shark pet bed has not arrived yet either

slithytove · 04/09/2016 00:52

My shark bed hasn't arrived either, plus I'm currently playing a waiting game with elc. Want to get some happy land for dd birthday in a fortnight but haven't had my 20% code yet, and they claim to have no record of me despite me being able to log in, and having received it no bother last year 😡
