Evening all!

Like last year, whilst Reastie takes a well deserved break, i am taking up the flag to start a new prequel thread.

Because again finishing the last one is depressing.

So....whose got any bargains?

Someone taught me, passing it on!

SitsOnFence · 28/04/2016 21:23

Lego Friends Adventure Pack is £2.62 on Amazon. Free delivery with Prime or for £10 of books.

My DD was given this last year and it was very well received. From memory, it includes a little set with minifigure, an activity book and a couple of story books.

brightandshiney · 29/04/2016 08:08

Thanks Sitsonfence. Thats in the basket for later.

NotSayingImBatman · 29/04/2016 09:55

Just been to Sainsburys and they had Frozen paint your own snowglobes reduced from £10 to £2.50. They're in a nice big box with three snowglobes in each set.

I've bought a few for the present cupboard, they look a lot more than £2.50!

SitsOnFence · 29/04/2016 10:08

The Aqua Play Lock Box 616 is down to £25 on Amazon and at Toys R Us. Not a massive price reduction, but a good price for one of these sets.

I went into a large Poundland yesterday and they had Bakugan single packs and these strange dart things called Scatter Brainz whcih both looked quite interesting. Father Christmas bought DS this Bakugan set for Christmas and he loved it.

SitsOnFence · 29/04/2016 10:23

If any of you have been tempted by the discounted Playmobil on Amazon, it's worth knowing that Toys R Us are selling at the same price BUT with a free Playmobil egg if you spend over £20

OhHolyFuck · 29/04/2016 10:48

Deep sea lego helicopter is half price on amazon, down from £40 to £20

Lego Elsa's castle £20.99

I'm not used to doing links on my phone! Hope that worked.

There are also some Lego friends sets at best prices on Amazon. I've just bought the hot air balloon for £16.99.

OvO · 29/04/2016 19:18

I want that Lego helicopter. I also want to eat this weekend.

Decisions, decisions...

CinderellaFant · 29/04/2016 20:52

Ooo love the bargain threads!! And I'm hopefully having a baby early December so I need to be organised this year! Grin

cowssheephens · 30/04/2016 10:33

sits thanks for the Lego friends deal, bought 2.

OvO · 30/04/2016 17:31

I'm glad I resisted the lego as I was in Hawkins Baazar today and it's closing down so had an actual PROPER sale on. I got a tonne of stocking fillers for cheap as chips. Lots of things were 10-20p!

So if anyone is in Edinburgh or nearby the one in St James' Centre is the one to go to! Lots of shops in the centre had big sales as the centre is being knocked down so their leases are all up soon.

NotSayingImBatman · 01/05/2016 18:14

All of mine seem to be Sainsburys related at the moment...

Sainsbos seem to be price matching Amazon on Lego at the moment - or possibly vice versa - either way, I got the Lego City speedboat and transporter for £16.66. Other kits were similarly reduced.

OvO · 01/05/2016 23:47

I love Sainsburys for bargains. I have a pile of stationery for the stockings from there - things like Batman/Superman notebook down to 60p or big packs of crayola twistables for £1. I was in Tesco today and getting all sniffy at their 50% off stationery - not a big enough bargain for me now! Grin

onesparesecond · 02/05/2016 08:42

Hi can I join? Been lurking for two years and has been a massive help.
This was at my local Home Bargains for £1.99 yesterday
www.amazon.co.uk/Lego%C2%AE-Chima-Hunters-Activity-Minifigure/dp/1405275979
Hope the link works. If not it is the Lego Chima activity book with minifigure.

GinAndSonic · 02/05/2016 12:48

Not sure if it's everywhere or if it's available online, but my local boots has playmobil eggs for £3.50. They have pirate treasure hunt, soccer player with goal, mermaid with seahorses and zookeeper with alpaca. They had lots of other things in the clearance section too.

SideOrderofChip · 02/05/2016 17:10

Everyone is welcome onespare

woodwaj · 02/05/2016 22:21

I think as a general rule of thumb just stick to the sellers with plenty of orders placed already on Aliexpress!

SomethingOfTheNight · 05/05/2016 18:37

Helgathehairy · 05/05/2016 19:33

Got an email from The Book People - they have 10 Julia Donaldson books for €9.99 which seems to come with a Gruffolo bag.
They also have a Christmas picture book collection with cloth bag for €9.99 www.thebookpeople.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/qs_product_tbp?productId=553267&storeId=10001&catalogId=10051&langId=100&topCatId=85207&categoryId=133705&filters=2a3&facetGroupName=Age&facetOptionName=3+years+%2b
