Evening all!

Like last year, whilst Reastie takes a well deserved break, i am taking up the flag to start a new prequel thread.

Because again finishing the last one is depressing.

So....whose got any bargains?

Thank you Hoggle.

HoggleHoggle · 03/06/2016 15:41

Was just in Sainsburys and they had really good discounts on vtech toot toot stuff.

HoggleHoggle · 03/06/2016 15:44

No worries something!

Oreocrumbs · 03/06/2016 16:57

I've just been into the works and bought these A4 hard back note books for teacher gifts £3 each, they look quite expensive! I've ordered a personalised pen from eBay to go with them £2.47 each can't seem to link from my phone, but I searched personalised pen, and it was in the first page of results helpful.

Mipe · 04/06/2016 20:45

Oreo those notebooks are lovely, I ordered loads of the A5 ones and got 25% off with code PLAY25 (free delivery if you order is over £20) Smile.

KacieB · 04/06/2016 20:47

You vanished from my TIO! Lost you all!

We went for a trip to Stratford upon Avon today and their gorgeous Christmas shop, EXCITING! Grin halfway there now...

d270r0 · 05/06/2016 20:04

Ok so not neccessarily christmassy but might help someone out there.
Tesco are doing 10kg bags of playsand for 2 bags for £4, which is pretty cheap in itself.
Combine it with the fact there are also doing £5 off when you spend £40 on certain toys (big choice and including play sand)
Also you can use clubcard vouchers to pay in boost, so the vouchers are worth double.
Added to the fact look up 'tesco delivery saver' you can get a free delivery month trial, cancel at any time.

So I combined all the abover and for £17.50 of clubcard vouchers I got 16 bags of sand (big sandpit), an A3 poster colouring book and 3 'make your own cards' craft sets. Pretty pleased with that one!

If anyone sees any good discounts or sales on kitchen items could you post please? Smile I'm looking for a knife sharpener for my parents for Xmas but it will be part of a kitchen-y hamper so can't cost too much! (The rest will be made up of homemade chocs, booze etc)
Thanks!

Omg omg omg I've just found out Smiggle in opening in my town this week! I wouldn't have even heard of Smiggle if it weren't for this thread

OvO · 09/06/2016 00:24

I need a smiggle!

Hmm, that sounds rude. Grin

There's a whopping 2 stores in Scotland and I'm not going all the way to bloody weegieland. Why doesn't Edinburgh have one? Waaaah. Dundee has one. DUNDEE!!

candykane25 · 09/06/2016 08:27

Maybe they are expanding? My town isn't that big. At least you live near Edinburgh which is a brilliant city.

HoggleHoggle · 09/06/2016 12:26

Just stumbled on this website - www.childhoodsdream.co.uk/

They're having a June sale, I just got a really lovely train set reduced.

Worth looking at if you're in the market for wooden toys. Free delivery over £20 too.

eitak22 · 09/06/2016 12:31

NaraDeer · 10/06/2016 12:47

Ooh hello! Hope you don't mind if I join? I lurked last year and you lot helped me find lots of bargains.

Daffodil90 · 10/06/2016 17:17

Just ordered 5 wicker baskets to make hampers up with for £4 each. It's a local lady that I found through Facebook so if you're in Sheffield message me and I'll link you to her!

OvO · 10/06/2016 21:18

My blankets have just arrived - less than 24 hours later! Shock

They are fab, really like them. Even made my terminally grumpy DH smile!

Thanks again, RainDear.
