Evening all!

Like last year, whilst Reastie takes a well deserved break, i am taking up the flag to start a new prequel thread.

Because again finishing the last one is depressing.

So....whose got any bargains?

Delurking...

Do we normally mention our £10 boden vouchers here? I had one through the mail today...

Mipe · 14/05/2016 16:07

If anyone would like more £1 chalk pens, this is a link to join the 'Amazon Review Club' that sends out the codes! So far it has just been chalk pens and a lock pick kit but great value for £1 Smile.

Mipe · 14/05/2016 16:20

Nice looking owl scarves on Amazon, this grey one is £2.40 and the navy one only £2.09 with free delivery Smile.

IAmAPaleontologist · 14/05/2016 16:42

Hello! I'm starting to think ahead and joining the thread. Used the chalk pen code successfully though they have not been put away for Christmas but instead I also got a roll of sticky back blackboard stuff and made a menu planner in the kitchen. Ah well, the colours were not very Christmassy, I will have to keep a look out as I thought I'd would be great fun to decorate the windows and patio doors this year.

I have no ideas at all yet so will be lurking and picking up ideas.

Tesco have started their 'double up' event today where you can double your clubcard vouchers to buy stuff on tesco direct.

BicycleMadeForTwo · 16/05/2016 14:25

It's the last ever Tesco Clubcard double up too 😞

candykane25 · 18/05/2016 08:51

I hadn't heard of bargain crazy, thanks for that.
No new bargains to report but I have saved a few items for the Random Christmas Items thread later in the year Grin

EmGee · 18/05/2016 16:19

Can anyone remember the name of the website that sold melissa and doug wooden toys at reasonable prices? It was mentioned a few times in the threads last Christmas. Can't remember for the life of me what it was.

HoggleHoggle · 18/05/2016 17:49

Ooh, that would be very helpful em...am planning to get a fair bit from M&D

candykane25 · 18/05/2016 17:55

I don't remember, would also like to know.
TK Maxx sometimes have M&D.

Chocolateteabag · 18/05/2016 23:24

Hello hello!

I have been thinking something has been missing in my life since Easter this year... Only the blooming Christmas Bargain thread of course!!
We had a village coffee morning today and someone brought some homemade mince pies OMG!! Grin

Anyway - signing in for 2016. I found some Lego mini figure packs half price at £1.25 in Tesco this week along with a couple of £9 Lego sets down to £3.75 - so does pay to swing by the reduced aisle "out of main gift season"

candykane25 · 19/05/2016 13:47

Pooh I could just eat a mince pie. With clotted cream.
And a glass of mulled wine.,

candykane25 · 19/05/2016 13:47

Ooh not pooh!!

backinschool · 19/05/2016 16:46

I think the website with the Melissa and doug toys was tq toys. The toys are quite cheap anyway but they had a 25% off sale too and I remember getting some great bargains. They have a fb page- might be worth following for sale info.

HoggleHoggle · 19/05/2016 17:35

That website is brilliant! Thanks

candykane25 · 19/05/2016 21:41

That is a good website. I checked and you pay by PayPal so I found them on eBay, search for
Seller:tqtoys

PandasRock · 20/05/2016 12:57

There are a few good discounts on big Lego sets on Amazon today:

The Friends Hotel has 35% off, so currently £65

The Space Port is 40% off, currently £42

The Elves castle is £45 instead of £75

and Deep Sea exploration vessel is £49 instead of £80.

As ever, prices will fluctuate, but those are good prices for those sets.
