John Lewis you sale has started. Loads of playmobile, turtles, hexabugs and xenos one offer.

Unexpected · 08/08/2015 12:16

If you have kids who like space, I have just bought a planetarium and a model of the solar system from John Lewis much reduced at £8.75 and £7.50!

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 08/08/2015 12:55

Just ordered the big checkout and trolley, down from £75 to £18.75. Shock

BicycleGasoline · 08/08/2015 13:08

Is there a link for the John Lewis toy sale? I c ant see anything about it on the site

Unexpected · 08/08/2015 13:13

Not sure, I clicked on special offers on the top and just chose toys and games from that.

nickdrakeslovechild · 08/08/2015 15:10

HerdOfRhino you may want to redo your link, its going to your personal wish list.

cookiefiend · 08/08/2015 19:01

I can never be bothered with links from my phone but Melissa and Doug alphabet and food sticker books are 1.98 on Amazon. They are quite substantial nice gifts.

HerdOfRhino · 08/08/2015 19:17

I have reported my earlier post to hq. Hopefully it won't be too long til it's deleted.

Thanks for letting me know Flowers

Reastie · 08/08/2015 20:21

Thanks candy just ordered a body lotion

CrapBag · 08/08/2015 20:24

Ordered the books from amazon. The discount did work right at the end, so thanks to the poster who said that.

PlayingHouse · 08/08/2015 20:58

What books are people ordering from Amazon?

CrapBag · 08/08/2015 22:27

I ordered a quiz book for DS and a colouring book, one with the patterns as I bought an adult colouring book for myself last week and he's after it.

For DD I got a princess dressing up sticker book and a pattern colouring book as she loves colouring as well.

Saved nearly £10 so I'm happy with that. Shame my nephews are too young for any of those books as I would have got more.

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 08/08/2015 22:29

I ordered the find Santa and find the Penguins. And the stars and moon beginners & things to do for boys. So 3 presents and a Christmas treat to get them excited about Santa coming.

Jenni2legs · 08/08/2015 23:40

PlayingHouse I put the books in reverse price order and chose four £9.99 books 2x colouring in and 2x doodling.

Methenyouplus4 · 09/08/2015 07:22

Thank you for heads up on John lewis sale, gutted I missed out on some playmobil dragon offers. Bought some own brand nerf gun type things but posted another thread on crimbo section as a bit unsure.

ColeslawSandwich · 09/08/2015 10:57

If anyone is buying from the JL toy sale, just check on Amazon first as some items are cheaper there despite the sale.

Reastie · 09/08/2015 11:15

Haven't been on the site but just got an email from yellow moon saying Christmas and Halloween sale on their craft stuff

SideOrderofChips · 09/08/2015 11:41

Reastie Are you almost ready to take over the reins?

This year will in interesting initially as my laptop has given up so I'm on tablet only and not used to the art of using it so I'm hoping for smooth technical transition (or help on how to use my tablet from more technical people on here).

I did my official Christmas list last week and I'd say I'm already at least 70% done so I must sit on my hands as much as possible

ObiWanCannoli · 09/08/2015 13:48

I bought a great app called Christmas list. It tallies up your spend and how much you have left. You can add photos and do separate lists for each person. Its great and I think will help me keep track of everything. I have already lost a box of stuff but I'm not sure what was in it. I'm wondering if I've imagined it.

PlayingHouse · 09/08/2015 14:10

Wow Reastie have you been posting the bargains on here?

I haven't seen enough bargains yet so am really far behind on where I was this time last year Sad

SideOrderofChips · 09/08/2015 14:36

Reastie If you have the links from last year saved, email them to me (ill pm you my email address) and ill put it up if ou want x

That's really kind chips but some kind soul pm we me a while ago having updates the old links (thank you to whoever it was. I'm so sorry I can't remember at this moment your nn) so just have to use that and update it.

House the thread started by a post i made three or four years ago asking if anyone had seen and good bargains for Christmas presents and has grown from there. I attempt to collate links and put them on an epic post so people don't have to scroll through all threads.
