sibling Thanks for the yankee candles votives offer link. Do the holders that you linked to on amazon definitely fit the votives? Thanks.

NogbagTheBag · 03/06/2015 13:49

I know wondering I spent about £50 and got LOADS of stuff for DSs and bits for myself and DH, I was so happy to have stumble across it! (my bank balance may be less happy about it...)

Cancer research UK cards have some good offers on them if you want a bargain but its still going to charity. Some are out of stock though.

Thanks side the playdoh is great!

WonderingWillow · 03/06/2015 21:33

make up pouch/pencil case nice little stocking filler for someone? £1.52

scarf £1.70

watch strap quality might not be amazing but £3.09 so you could always put a different strap on it? Reviews seem ok though?

sparkly pendant 91p

sweet little butterfly purse £1.99

All those obviously not loads on their own, but if you gave someone the scarf and the purse that would be a nice little present for less than £5 and it would look like you'd easily spent £20.

AdmiralCLingus · 04/06/2015 00:18

Just ordered a custom necklace for my friend from here not a massive bargain but would be a lovely gift for someone into their literature! You can have any quote from any book Smile

(Ive asked for "happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light" from harry potter)

siblingrevelryagain · 04/06/2015 06:07

Welltidy: yes they do, I have them as gifts but kept some for me too! If you have a look for votive holders I amazon you can order different quantities and sometimes different colours/shapes too.

Reastie · 04/06/2015 06:50

I've been on bargain thread holiday and trying not to buy too much

If anyone has a B&M near them I was in earlier and they have these interactive baby pandas reduced to £7.99 it's still £25 on Amazon.

WonderingWillow · 04/06/2015 19:22

Playmobil campsite 40% off on Amazon.

WonderingWillow · 04/06/2015 19:28

Also quite good deals on Lego Friends on Amazon UK website; some stuff has 30-40% off so well worth a look. Still pricey but better to pay £30ish than closer to £50!

1Child1PetNoClue · 04/06/2015 22:34

Thanks for setting it up chips Thanks

PlayingHouse · 06/06/2015 09:10

I love this thread but I do feel I get caught up with the bargains and lose sight of what people actually want.

Quantity over quality today.

And less buying just because it has money off!

PlayingHouse · 06/06/2015 09:10

Not today - I meant this year!

MacGotFat · 06/06/2015 09:17

If anyone has Octonauts fans, when I popped into The Works yesterday they had a huge display of books in their 4 for £5 deal, including sticker books, pop up books etc. I've just looked online and seen that they're doing 10 for £10- Octonaut Books

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 07/06/2015 18:22

playing im the same haven't bought any xmas gifts yet as otherwise I end up with mountains of stuff which girls don't need or really like.

im waiting till Sept to make a start as there's still loads of bargains around but less chance of tastes changing. Grin

also ive been decluttering since jan still a long way to go i hoard so much and im a recovering bargainaholic I refuse to allow mountains of stuff in the house and ruin my efforts so far!

PlayingHouse · 07/06/2015 19:22

I'm fed up with all my girls 'stuff' as well nocutsnobuts. There just seems so much of it.

Games, puzzles, craft stuff, cuddly toys, plastic tat, baby toys ... The list is endless.

We do not need anymore and yet I fear I will be forced to buy more. This makes me equally Sad and Angry .

I have persuaded dd1 to forsake birthday presents for a trip to see Maltilda - a minor victory in the battle of 'stuff'

Sibling thanks, I will order. I orderd the 12 yankee candles for 12 last week, and they've already arrived. In a very nice tray, which makes me want to keep all twelve for myself!!
