I've been a bit rubbish and not updated from last thread. But things are settling down for Christmas now so I'm working on the basis it's more a share of sales bits coming up/how the presents went down on the big day.

My son is obsessed with a show called Team Umizoomi and the only gift he has asked for is the Umicar! (Remote control or push -not fussy!)

I can not seem to find one anywhere in the UK, I previously ordered one from the US but sadly it got badly broken in transit.
Please help?!

Must say hats off to Tesco customer service. I've had a shocking time with delivery of a coffee machine that I bought on black Friday (well Yodel are to blame) and Tesco have replaced it (for free!). Well done Tesco :)

Thanks Elvish and Sangria, he should be fine just all very unexpected. Have gone through all the dcs gifts this morning and they all seem fine (and enough!) so big relief there. Will look through adult stuff tonight.

So there I was in Asda doing a bit of a food shop and what do a I see on the toy shelf?? A £10 PLAYMOBIL CAMPERVAN!!! Ive only been looking for that (at multiple branches) since about October!! And of course I don't really need it now, but had to buy it anyway !

TK Maxx had loads of great Melissa & Doug wooden and felt play food toys in stock as well as Melissa & Doug sticker books.

Ah hear you are, the old thread disappeared from my page! I've been struck down with tonsillitis, DD has a virus, DH has man flu and I've still got a list of things to do that is literally as long as my arm and yet I've still come to find you lot for the last minute twitch

I forgot to buy anything for DH or my parents from toddler DD. Any ideas? Obviously it's now too late for calendars etc that are my usual fall back.

FFS emailed amazon seller about DPs present being late delivered and they have said they'll chwck with royal mail and refund it which is code for looks like we didn't really send it isn't it? otherwise why would they refund so readily? and it's a bloody expensive tool he wanted so now he's a present down and his others look very unexciting... any ideas as I'm skint?

Maggie - Amazon have fab customer service n do refund v readily or replace n ask if original order eventually turns up you return it.

Rymans have free next day delivery when you spend £30, and they sell a surprising variety of things. Also have 3 for 2 on gift wrap things if anyone needs any.

Gray and Osborne - GHWR8 should give 50% off and free next day delivery, haven't been able to check it as you have to sign in and I've forgotten my details, but you can sign up a new account too. Not massively bargainous but might be some accessories etc worth a look.

If anybody else is expecting orders from Ali do not panic about one shipment of post from China getting stopped. It's probably a miniscule amount of Chinese import post getting stopped that day.
