Mine are piled in the spare room... And I mean Piled!! All over the bed, floor, sideboard and on top of the wardrobe... You can barely get in the room. (We buy for a lot of people!)

I have guests coming next week, and I need my guest room... But I literally have I idea where I'm going to put everything and DH and I are a bit panicked about it... (Not just a bit... He's actually considering cancelling..??!)

Mrsgrumble · 13/12/2014 22:35

In drona boxes in kallax storage from ikea in spare room

curiousgeorgie · 13/12/2014 22:37

Lucky Lopez - I can't put it under the tree... I have a 17 month old nightmare who would destroy everything Wink

In a locked suitcase under my bed!!! Is a massive suitcase :) and neither dc area interested in it..
Makes carrying them all downstairs in xmas eve to put under tree a lot easier.. I hide the suitcase in cuboard understates and get it out once they're all in bed :)

BloodyDogHairs · 13/12/2014 22:39

mines are currently piled in the cupboard under the stairs, I need something from the back of the cupboard but scared to move anything incase my pile collapses.

bluebump · 13/12/2014 22:40

In a locked suitcase under my bed too! My DS has no idea that's where they are.

ToodlesMcToodles · 13/12/2014 22:40

Stuff that's wrapped and for family / friends is piled under the tree if wrapped or in my wardrobe.

DS's in my wardrobe in a brown box on the shelf (he's 5, not started snooping yet)
DD's planked in various cupboards/drawers wrapped in towels etc (she's 15yrs definitely snooping but I'm fed up trying to outsmart her)

DH's in DD's room. You need a hazard certificate to cross her floor.

I was reading Xmas list thread earlier and think I don't buy as much as others though DH will still think we've bought too much.

Loft

Parents garage

Next door neighbours garage

Taffeta · 13/12/2014 22:41

Under the tree, have been since we got it last week. Flurry of excitement and feeling them up from DC 11 & 8 at the time.

Taffeta · 13/12/2014 22:43

Oh apart from stocking stuff and Santa present which are hidden in a secret cupboard whose access is blocked by my bedside table. Muuu huu

AuditAngel · 13/12/2014 22:43

At the moment, in a pike of boring brown (Amazon) boxes in the garage because I needed my car boot today. Also in the spare room, in my wardrobe, in the top box above my wardrobe........

When wrapped, they normally go into the loft (we have stairs to the loft) but that may need to chase as we have 5 of us plus 4 guests on Christmas Eve. We have enough beds, but access to the loft is via where granny sleeps. Oh well, at least she doesn't believe in Santa ??

andadietcoke · 13/12/2014 22:45

We have ottoman storage beds and all the presents are in there.

knittedslippersx2 · 13/12/2014 22:46

Mine are still all in the shops waiting to be bought!

ChristmasJumperWearer · 13/12/2014 22:46

I keep large cardboard boxes for this purpose, then they can be hidden in plain sight from the DCs, who don't yet appear to have cottoned on to this.

Using suitcases is a brilliant idea. Lockable, portable...I am stealing that idea!

OP, what about putting them in a car?

StuntCodPiece · 13/12/2014 22:48

At my mums.

Spare room wardrobe in amah bags, gutted we can't put them under the tree this year

LePetitMarseillais · 13/12/2014 23:07

No spare room so under our bed(it will be levitating soon), my wardrobe and in cardboard boxes by the bed. Can't wait until it is all shifted.

I have friends who wrap and put them in bin bags in the loft but ours is by the kids rooms so no use.

PogoBob · 13/12/2014 23:10

Cupboard under the stairs (becoming a bloody nightmare whenever I need anything from in there) and in the built in cupboard in our bedroom. Not sure how we have kept the DC from seeing anything.

Planning an afternoon of wrapping on Thursday as have the afternoon off and will be home alone.

QueenYnci · 13/12/2014 23:14

They go in a big cupboard in the bathroom, piled up in cardboard boxes with the decorations. But all that's in there now is the stocking and hamper stuff as this week I've wrapped them and put them straight under the tree. I don't usually do it this way but wanted a nice relaxing Christmas Eve this year with just the stockings to worry about.

meerschweinchen · 13/12/2014 23:28

Wardrobe here, but I too am stealing the suitcase idea! It's genius.
The daft thing is, I keep a couple of suitcases in the bottom of my wardrobe, but have been piling the presents on and around them...if only I'd have thought to actually put them inside...Smile

Fanjango · 13/12/2014 23:32

Some are in the under stairs cupboard. Done are in boxes in the hallway. Thankfully the kids never attempt to chest and take a look. Despite being mega excited about Xmas they never look for their presents, the thought never seems to have occurred to them Smile

FruitCakey · 13/12/2014 23:37

Spare bedroom and inside the wardrobe! My 6 year old DS still hasn't discovered them. Grin

Philoslothy · 13/12/2014 23:39

We buy everything on the 23rd so no real need to store. They go under the tree but I suspect that we have far less than most MNers even thigh there are 6 children

Taffeta · 14/12/2014 08:09

Our presents for everyone are under the tree - not just our own children. Also their presents from others.
