The Amazon throws upthread are out of stock - don't know whether to be pleased or not !

WUME · 05/12/2014 15:48

Just checked and Annabell is back up to £31.99 Sad

AuntieMaggie · 05/12/2014 15:50

When I looked yesterday at the amazon throw there were several fleecy blankets recommended at about £3 each too.

I just thought a letter from santa would be a nice keepsake for ds's first Christmas (he'll be 6 months ) or is that too much?

gleegeek · 05/12/2014 15:52

bettythebuilder National Trust shops often have purple lavender wheat pillows.

divabroad · 05/12/2014 15:55

Marking my place. I'm finished but I'm doing Quidco bonus thing which need 4 shopping to unlock, so I'm hanging around. Nothing exciting no codes today.

NorksEnormous · 05/12/2014 15:57

Betty not sure if it would do but I bought a 'paint your own Santa' Russian doll set in home bargains for 3.99. They also had paint your own hello kitty ones for the same price

SouthernOne · 05/12/2014 16:00

Someone asked about heat warmers. Saw a set of two in Sainsburys today reduced to £3 something

YaMasYaDaWithAWigOn · 05/12/2014 16:00

I think that's a lovely idea Maggie, I posted a link earlier where you could get a personalised one for 50p delivered. My DSis is getting one done for her DS who'll be 11 months at Christmas.

dancemom · 05/12/2014 16:21

AuntieMaggie · 05/12/2014 16:25

RJnomore · 05/12/2014 16:43

Oh ffs I'm trying to buy a half price Paddington bath set on my iPad from m and s and the site is being a complete nightmare! Is it just me?

PickleMobile · 05/12/2014 16:51

I bought the artic throw this morning. So glad I did as it's now out of stock.

Good idea if anyone's is making your own reindeer food for Christmas eve, ive bought a small screw top jar and some christmas stickers from Homebase and some Asda smartprice oats. Just need some glitter now and I will have a reusable christmas jar for less than £6.

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 05/12/2014 16:53

Bettythebuilder I got a purple wheat/lavender hottie thing from the Works . I think it was £4, not a bad size. After searching for one for ages I randomly spotted them a few weeks ago.

temporaryusername · 05/12/2014 17:23

bettythebuilder they are online rather than in the shops but Toypost have Russian dolls from around £8 -

www.toypost.co.uk/toys/russian-matryoshka-dolls/authentic-russian-matryoshka-set-of-5-in-premium-gift-pack-green-hood-girl-2cm-9cm.html

There may be some more bargainous 'on the ground', I'm not sure.

Café Press are doing up to 45% off apparel (clothing then) with APP45, they have a 20% off code on their website MERRY20, it doesn't seem to stack with the other if only clothing in the basket but might be worth a try stacking if you're getting anything else. Postage is £5.50 though which seems unacceptable!

Also I know their stuff is sometimes cheaper elsewhere but if anyone is getting something from Handpicked Collection try OCADO14 for 15% off.

tipsyloolah · 05/12/2014 17:33

I do admit knowing very little about ipads so I'm still asking the same daft questions as on an earlier thread probably . . . I think I need a 64GB one, but they seem HUGELY expensive. Are there bargains anywhere on those?

Also still looking for GHDs that are a pretty colour but around £80ish.

Do you think Monday will be good for deals as seems to be suggested in media? I'm running very far behind everyone else as I don't feel Xmassy at all Sad . . .

Tesco had offer on itunes cards today that may have already been mentioned - think it was 3 x £15 ones for £35.

tipsyloolah · 05/12/2014 17:35

That should have been asking about ipad minis Blush . . .

ihatethecold · 05/12/2014 17:58
Xmas Grin
emmelinelucas · 05/12/2014 18:10

Cafe Press don't accept debit cards, only credit cards. I only realised this when I tried to checkout my (large) order Angry Their stuff looks nice, though.

AlmightyCitrus · 05/12/2014 18:15

Anyone having bother with their Yves Rocher orders? I got a letter saying that my payment couldn't be processed, rang up and gave them the card details again, got another letter, phoned again and gave them a different card, only to get yet another letter. I've had to send a cheque.
I've tried debit and credit cards.

Purplefrogshoes · 05/12/2014 18:18
