Theonlyoneiknow - where did you get the personalised lego mini figures?! I always get gift boxes from Card Factory, but don't know how small they go.

Wow, thanks very much for all the voting, I'm quite overcome. Went to bed last night and I was in losing position and wake up in winning it's not over until it's over though so do feel free to keep voting .

TheOnly not sure how big they are but imagining quite small? Would a homemade origami box work? like this type of thing . I'm useless at this stuff but have done this one in the past with no problems. Make one a little smaller for the base so you have a lid and top. Google 'small origami box with lid' and you might get more detailed measurements for a lid and base.

My rabbit lights came after about 2 weeks. It's a shame you didn't manage to get them as they were really lovely. Hmm

The only one I know

You don't need gift boxes if you have toilet rolls - look at this!

Voted Reastie too.

These threads have been great and whilst I haven't contributed much and haven't really bought much either the feeling of camaraderie and a genuine desire to make life easier for others has been great.

Just back from sainsburys. They have lots of gift bags and wrapping bits reduced. Medium bags were 45p from £1.50. Their gifts are also reduced by 1/3 or 1/2 price, but cheaper online. Lego clocks are £12.50 online but £16 instore. Guess delivery might be a problem now though.

I've voted for Reastie too, of course!

NorksEnormous · 16/12/2014 13:14

Incase anyone is interested. Last year I got DP's head 3D printed the same size as a Lego head. Once I received the head, I purchased a computer geek minifigure with a laptop accessories from Amazon.(DP is a Software Engineer). Took the original Lego head off, and popped on the 3D printed one, (with a bit of blutack on the inside. I may do something similar for DS for his birthday as he's obsessed with Lego. Anyway I ordered it through Firebox. Takes 3 weeks to receive the product.

Tits - just ordered a 32gb wii u with Mario kart 8 from isme. I had a code for £30 credit and have managed to get all that for £225 instead of £255. I plan to pay it off over 3 months with the 'take 3' plan.

cookiefiend · 16/12/2014 13:57

If anyone still needs DVDs I got one on zavvi on Friday you can use code WELCOME to get 10% off. Paid with master pass - seems like master cards new PayPal and today received a £10 voucher for zavvi to spend on anything.

I know you are cutting close for order deadline, but worth a punt if you are still hunting.

Christmas pyjamas were half price in Morrisons this morning which made the children's £3 and adults' £6. We don't usually bother with Christmas themed pj's just new ones but at that price if the two with autism refuse to wear them after Christmas it won't really matter.
