No exciting thread title this time I’m afraid...

This is it, this is the thread that should take us into December Xmas Grin

As previously, if you shot a link in the OP links isn’t working/no longer in date, please let me know by posting in bold so I can easily see to update Thanks

If I’ve missed anything good from any last threads onto the list please let me know.

OhCunt the Claire's code is for January shopping. Gutted as I'd just filled a basket for dd but will probably twitch and buy it anyway HmmGrin

mamapants · 28/11/2014 20:56

Burts bees also have a flash sale, 50per cent off this weekend

Marmaladecat1 · 28/11/2014 20:58

Red magazine 12 issues for £12 until 3rd Dec on Hearst Magazine site.
That's me sorted Smile

snappybadger · 28/11/2014 20:58

Lucy re: kindles and lights - I had a basic Kindle to start with and used to use a clip on light, then last Christmas I upgraded to a paperwhite and it knocks the socks off using a clip on light IMHO. It's so much easier on the eyes, but not the same brightness as a tablet so it doesn't hurt or make your eyes tired. I would say go for a paperwhite over a basic kindle and you won't be disappointed you did.

Finally had an email back re the beauty box. apparently an automatic confirmation email should have been sent. All good Smile

wyldstile · 28/11/2014 21:04

Thanks for the DC link ohcunt, just bought my DH some trainers I didn't know were on my list.

Jenni2legs · 28/11/2014 21:08

Hi All, I have just bought a (black friday) carseat from www.wauwaa.com/ with 50% off with code BFWau50 for orders over £60.
They have travel systems and buggy's on there too. It says the code runs out after 100 people use it - then you can get 35% off with BFWau35 for next 200 people, and then everyone else can get 20% off with BFWau20.

I literally bought two minutes ago and the 50% code owrked (£4 shipping)

BuddyKringleberry · 28/11/2014 21:24

Ah plebgate, queen, that explains why the word was fresh in my brain. I usually would have used a far more derogatory word x

Greenrabbit · 28/11/2014 21:28

Thanks Jenni just got 50% off some Hatley stuff.

Petal7 · 28/11/2014 21:34

LapsedTwentysomething · 28/11/2014 21:44

Noticed the post about Lidl Christmas food. On the back of one of these threads I bought three loaves of Stollen a couple of years ago. I took one to a work lunch (it didn't get opened) and tried another at home. It was so disgusting that we binned the third! Really chemical tasting. Bleurgh.

yumyumpoppycat · 28/11/2014 21:55

Tesco's website seems to be working now, the things I have been waiting for are out of stock even though the price hasn't changed Confused

yumyumpoppycat · 28/11/2014 21:59

Oh no divabroad I wish I had seen your post before I spent over £50 in Debemhams! There are some great deals on shirts there for around £9, and also cash back (think it was top cash back but not sure).

WUME · 28/11/2014 22:00

chemical tasting? Hmm

I've had to hide our pack of Lidl stollen otherwise they won't make it till Christmas. Dh and dd1 LOVE them

Dirtydancer · 28/11/2014 22:17

Marmaladecat1 thanks for the Burts Bees tip. Off to take a look now for my difficult to buy for bestie!

Fortunately couldn't get tesco website to let me checkout with Elsa dress- turns out it isn't meant to be an Elsa dress just a blue ball dress. Sorted, but not under budget unfortunately.

IgnoreMeEveryOtherReindeerDoes · 28/11/2014 22:31

ohhelp have you tried currys they had them for £149. Not sure if they got any left or what website is like to get on

escape · 28/11/2014 22:39

ohhelp PC World /Curry's £169.99

FourthMary · 28/11/2014 22:40

On page 10 a couple of you are having problems with red light on tassimo, I think it means it needs descaling, youtube for how to do it. Hth.

meerschweinchen · 28/11/2014 22:44

Assuming the iPad mini I ordered actually arrives, the next thing to buy is a case. Can anyone recommend any good ones? I've seen some lovely looking ones, but I'm not willing to pay £50 just for a case. There seems to be loads around, but hard to tell which ones are good...

iloveholidays · 28/11/2014 22:45

I've missed the snap fish photo offer :(

Had some professional photos taken of my DDs last Saturday. Had a few on email today, rest should arrive on CD tomorrow. Was hoping to do a photobook to give to DP on Christmas Day (surprise) but trying to find a cheap one.

Any ideas? Thanks
