No exciting thread title this time I’m afraid...

This is it, this is the thread that should take us into December Xmas Grin

As previously, if you shot a link in the OP links isn’t working/no longer in date, please let me know by posting in bold so I can easily see to update Thanks

If I’ve missed anything good from any last threads onto the list please let me know.

I appear to have purchased a Harry from 1D doll for DSD and a Wonder Woman t-shirt for DD. She will be thrilled though she's always stealing DS1's superhero tops.

wineoclocktimeye · 28/11/2014 17:37

ohhelp both Sainsburys and Co-op have 2 x £15 iTunes vouchers for £25

Sallystyle · 28/11/2014 17:38

All I want is the half price tin of Liquorice all sorts from BHS.

Can't even get that. Got nothing.

PoopPoooDeDooo · 28/11/2014 17:43

paypal have 20% off iTunes

glentherednosedbattleostrich · 28/11/2014 17:46

I've accidentally bought the beauty box. Do you think I can convince DH he bought it for me for Christmas since I've already decided he is buying me the boots?

DrankSangriaInThePark · 28/11/2014 17:59

Salon Skincare are advertising 50% off everything on their website, have had a look, and there is indeed 50% off everything, although they haven't got the full range of stuff up they usually do....Hmm

Might be something for someone though.

What is the best deal on kindles? Definitely don't want the Fire but any if the basic ones will do, or the Paperwhite... Paperwhite is £79 on john Lewis, is that a decent price or should I keep looking?

2kidsintow · 28/11/2014 18:08

Instore today I couldn't decide between 2 pairs of black boots. So I bought both! :)
Tesco have 25% off all clothing this weekend. AND I then dropped a heavy hint to DH that if he hasn't thought of anything to get me, he could get me those boots. :)

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 28/11/2014 18:09

basic kindle is £49 on very as part of their black Friday deals Grin

LucyTheValiant · 28/11/2014 18:13

Oh that is a bargain... Do you think it's worth buying that one or should I pay a bit more for the paper white? I don't know anything about kindles!

snappybadger · 28/11/2014 18:14

Thank you Reastie for the £5 off a £40 F&F spend. Just re-ordered some clothes I picked up in store yesterday so I could use your code and (hopefully) get cashback too!

Prizepudding · 28/11/2014 18:18

Disney store have 40% off a few items including large Olaf soft toy and toy story figures today only

im not sure on kindles tbh I have a old Sony one which I love! I personally wouldn't pay extra for a backlight I just use a clip on one on my case. (light from £1 shop) I find back lit screens give me a headache (phone and tablet) not sure if the kindle light is different though...

I would like a kindle as prime now offers over 300,000 books to hire as part of their membership which would save loads of money in buying books!!

mamapants · 28/11/2014 18:27

Am sure this has been done to death but was in lidl yesterday - first time ever. Was really impressed with quality and prices. There were loads of yummy looking Xmas food and I think I remember people discussing their favourites on this thread.
So just wondering what foods would you recommend?
Me and DP both want to throw a party now just so we can buy the massive leg of serrano ham we saw! Looked amazing.

Reastie · 28/11/2014 18:30

No probs snappybadger

That's useful nocuts, thank you.

MostAmused · 28/11/2014 18:35

mamapants Pretty much everything in the deluxe range is excellent. The crisps are great and they have spreads in at the moment like chocolate hazelnut and toffee, they're wonderful! Chocolate for eating and or baking is really good from there go for the 60% cocoa on in the green packet, can't remember the brand name. They do good sausages I usually go for the mid range ones and I'm never dissappointed. Also they have a ladies clothes event soon and they have jumper dresses etc which are really nice.

Their version of Baileys is fantastic and it's only 4.99 or something!

waithorse · 28/11/2014 18:40

The Lego friends shopping mall is now out of stock in that HotUKDeals offer. Sad

mamapants · 28/11/2014 18:53

Wow thanks for tips most amused. Was meaning to ask specifically regarding Xmas food so wasn't hijacking thread. But all tips appreciated Smile

There are burts bees grab bags available now too think it was 70pounds worth for 28.50. Really impressed with the ones I got in the summer.

escape · 28/11/2014 19:04

At Meadowhall today, Curry's/PC world has 30 quid of iPads so cheapest mini is 169.99. Not Tesco or JL 149, but at least I've got one in my hand now versus oos everywhere online.

You only ever see a token discount on Apple products anyway as retailers are banned from it by the corporation , so in my eyes, it's a bonus ( would've preferred to save the extra 20 and get clubcard mind)

Iggi999 · 28/11/2014 19:06

Yummy and ohhelp - that means it needs descaling, I think?

glentherednosedbattleostrich · 28/11/2014 19:10

Ooh, I was at Meadowhall today too escape :)

Avoided that end though so I didn't accidentally buy something from Cath Kidston or McDonalds!

bobs123 · 28/11/2014 19:19

Petal7 emailed the telegraph beauty box ppl but they haven't emailed me back! Unfortunately I didn't write the ref no down - v unlike me!!!
