Thank you hooplahoop for the heads-up on Just Dance 2015 on Amazon- dd will be v pleased with that (and I won a £2.50 voucher on the Quidco cookie trail thing yesterday, so I used that- extra bargain!)

Black Friday is shit this year. So far a I've got is the foo fighters cd and Paolo Nutini one for DP and some Moshi monsters for DS1. Is it just me or is it all a bit overpriced still?

Elvish · 28/11/2014 15:45

You lot have me looking at coffee machines and thinking I need one - but I don't drink coffee or any other hot drinks!

You're all a bad influence Angry

I think it's been a rip off this year, generally speaking. Obv there are some fabulous bargains, but by and large, as someone else said, Amazon's RRP have been v creative, and lots of the stuff on BF can be found cheaper elsewhere.

I'm putting my £££ where my mouth is and predicting Truly Magnificent Bargains next week and the week after. she says hopefully as she has never been so bloody behind Grin

Shamazeballs · 28/11/2014 15:49

I keep seeing things for £10 ish and thinking oh they'll drop that to around a fiver and I'll get it. Then it ends up being £8 Angry

marne2 · 28/11/2014 16:03

Elvish, same here, I keep looking at the coffee machines, I don't drink coffee, can't tolerate caffeine but for some strange reason I feel I need to buy a coffee machine.

RichInBunlyGoodness · 28/11/2014 16:10

Thanks for Tesco tip for Disney dress up. Have grabbed Belle and Aurora for DD.

beadyboo · 28/11/2014 16:10

Please tell me there's a nespresso on offer somewhere - the pixie with an aeroccino. John Lewis are OOS on the one I want , and Amazon seem to be same price they have been since it went on DHs list of essential items!

yumyumpoppycat · 28/11/2014 16:15

I am finding black friday really annoying too for reasons already said but also becuae things I have been holding out for are not reducing, and everything I have already bought is getting cheaper grr grr. I can see why it is called black friday

MsBug · 28/11/2014 16:20

has anyone seen any good deals for a balance bike? I want to get it for DD's main christmas present. She is two although I imagine won't use it much till summer when she will be two and a half.

She is a bit too little to really get Christmas so if I don't see any bargains i might wait and get it for her in the sales world's meanest mum

neddle · 28/11/2014 16:33

I'm looking for a stylus for a kindle fire for my mum and a radio for dh.

Anyone seen anything good deals anywhere?

TeWiSavesTheDay · 28/11/2014 16:42

If anyone was looking for the octonauts gup s (arctic explorer) www.amazon.co.uk/Octonauts-Gup-S-Arctic-Explorer/dp/B00KQKMIUO it's down to £26 and in stock on Amazon. Not a lightning deal but £9 off.

I was trying to help a friend look for a new tv online and the sites were terrible. I think next year the best bet would be to go straight to John Lewis or similar who price match but whose sites seemed to cope better.

Ah well - kiddicare have some nice bits in their sale section again for £15 or less - particularly like the wooden pirate ship for £12 and dress up outfits £4 each also lots of pull back cars around the £1-2 mark.

waithorse · 28/11/2014 16:46

Just bought the make up brushes from Amazon. Saved a whopping £3 on the usual Amazon price. Thrilled. Hmm

Hmm, Black Friday not as impressive as last year. I got some great Lego & Brio bargains but only saw one Brio track.

Steamcream have x3 tins for £28 inc free delivery, bow and tag. Normally are £12.95 each

Mipe · 28/11/2014 17:03

Haven't tried it myself but saw this on HUKD, Lego Friends Shopping Mall for £44.80 delivered using a code Smile.

cookiefiend · 28/11/2014 17:04

Oh dear... we have been thinking abut getting a new ipad as DH wants to use the old one for work. We said we would think about it if the discount was great enough. I was in JL today, they and £30 off which wasn't really enough but unable to do much checking online, but there were so many people and they were snapping them up so in a fit of excitement I bought one too. Xmas Confused

They only had gold ones left, and I wanted space grey, but I grabbed one anyway and confirmed I can return it unopened if DH didn't like the colour etc.

I came home to the email from Rakuten about discounted ipads so bought the 64gb space grey one from there for £430- so £50 off. I went through topcashback and if it tracks I should get £37 cashback making the whole thing less than £400.

I hope it arrives- all my rakuten orders arrived before with no issues, but I know they are all fulfilled by different sellers so I am crossing my fingers.

Now I just need to return the JL one....

Well it's a good job I found this thread as I've come home to find a speeding fine! I know I was in the wrong (37 in 30mph zone) but they could have waited until after Christmas to break the news to me!

I may well be tucking into my Thorntons chocolates later! Sad

ArthurChristmas · 28/11/2014 17:23

Ohhelp, was this online? Been trying since midnight and can't get on website. Even husband to store but he got turned away by police!

yumyumpoppycat · 28/11/2014 17:23

Ohhelpohnoitsa My bargain tassimo from last month is doing the same thing.

sweetsomethings · 28/11/2014 17:31
