Thanks for the quote spotty

As previously, if you shot a link in the OP links isn’t working/no longer in date, please let me know by posting in bold so I can easily see to update Thanks

I'm getting a bit sporadic in what makes it to the OP (I can't put everything on or it would take up the whole thread!) so if you think I've missed something good please let me know.

Right folks - a challenge for you Grin
I would like to buy something like www.amazon.co.uk/Disney-Phineas-Ferbs-Perry-Platypus/dp/B00BXQ0DAM
But for about £20 max - it just needs to be a plush, soft cuddly Perry. I can see US pillow pets do one, and there's a jumbo one like that ^^ on the US Amazon site - but how do I work out how much it would cost to post to London?

HelpMeGetOutOfHere · 14/10/2014 10:43

poosey- we are in florida for October half term I can look when we go to the mall? do you know which shops sell them as we aren't visiting the parks this time, just seeing friends before Christmas.

YaMasYaDaWithAWigOn · 14/10/2014 10:47

Poosey have you tried the Disney Store?

GodPlayedByJamesMason · 14/10/2014 10:55

Poosey This one from Amazon.com comes in at £10.97 when converted into pounds and shipping & handling to the UK is £5.28 so £16.25 altogether?

waithorse · 14/10/2014 11:16

Thanks for the plamobil vet set. It's got an x ray machine and ds love's x rays. Grin

HelpMeGetOutOfHere · 14/10/2014 11:56

my fox bag came. it is fab for the price, I wouldn't consider it for an adult or for an older teen but for my 8yr old dd and her friends its fab. I brought mine from ebay for slightly more than the amazon ones but still im sure its exactly the same www.ebay.co.uk/itm/190804816450?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&var=490223194020&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

quite good sized bag, the strap is fairly short though would go across body on an 8-10 yr old but doubt it would on anyone much bigger.

I have also ordered this fox bag for dd so that it slightly different to her friends ones. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/151380025608?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&var=450558488212&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT this one hasn't arrived yet though to compare.

Notso · 14/10/2014 11:57

Just been to Poundland they had Rimmel Apocalips in three colours. I got a few for DD, one for my sister and some for me.
I only bought the red one from boots last week for £6.49 Angry

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 14/10/2014 12:11

So dd2 loves in the night garden and there used to be a fab ninky nonk shape sorter but they don't make it anymore. I was watching one on eBay with about now but I was hoping it would be there on payday and it's soldConfused
Can people keep an eye out for it? Willing to pay postage Grin

Ajaney · 14/10/2014 12:12

Not sure if this has been posted, am in Asda Grimsby car park and they have some Disney Pixar DVD boxsets for £10. I have brought Cars, Toy story also there.

wibblyjelly · 14/10/2014 12:19

Not a bargain, but a money saving tip you can start from now or in January. I have set up a standing order so that each month I put a regular amount aside each month into a seperate account. Just checked and by December I'll have £350 put aside, which will make a bit of a dent in the spending Smile

Pooseyfrumpture · 14/10/2014 12:25

I haven't tried Disney as there's nothing on line in the store. Thank God for the Amazon.com link - I couldn't see how to get the jumbo one give me a shipping price for the UK.

Waitingonasunnyday · 14/10/2014 12:46

The DVD offer is great! Thank you, I just ordered two, which I hope the DC don't already have... Trying to picture what is at home in the cabinet under the TV...

Waitingonasunnyday · 14/10/2014 12:48

Notso, if you have the boots receipt, you could return your unopened lipstick to them, iyswim...

Wiifitmama · 14/10/2014 12:48

Thanks for the DVD offer. I just signed up. Silly question....what do you do with the cash back? Does it go back on your credit card or is it held in the account for you to spend somewhere?

Thanks!

Waitingonasunnyday · 14/10/2014 12:55

Wiifitmama, I think you have to ask them to pay it to you - at least with quidco you do and this is the same sort of thing. It takes a while to be processed - mine is showing as 'outstanding'.

OodneedsanOod · 14/10/2014 12:59

My cash back on the credit card gets fed into the card yearly I think, or possibly in my current account (they are linked).

Petal7 · 14/10/2014 13:16

Lots of big Lego sets (Chima/Friends/city/Star Wars and lots more) reduced on Smyths toys online.

DuelingFanjo · 14/10/2014 13:26

£5 Elf with Book at Sainsbury's Saw them there last night.

Petal7 · 14/10/2014 13:27

And Leapfrog My Pal Violet £12.99. A great present for dd3 as it is something the older ones don't have!

AlwaysOneMissing · 14/10/2014 13:36

How do you access the disney DVDs on TopCashback?! I've joined but can't see where to click through for the offer.

MissRainbowBrite · 14/10/2014 13:38

Thank you for the top cashback link, just ordered Frozen and Tangled on bluray for the grand total of £3! The cashback is already showing as pending.
I'm a bit of a newbie to cashback, any tips and advice would be welcome Smile

TrisisFour · 14/10/2014 13:41

Wibbly, if you pay Council Tax over 10 months instead of 12, you can add the two months money that you don't have to pay (where we are it's in February and March) from the council tax, into the savings account aswell. In our case it gives an extra £260 on top of the £50 a month that we save. Wink

Petal7 · 14/10/2014 13:43

Leapfrog My Pal Violet also at Smyths toys

momwhereismy · 14/10/2014 13:52
