Thanks for the quote spotty

As previously, if you shot a link in the OP links isn’t working/no longer in date, please let me know by posting in bold so I can easily see to update Thanks

I'm getting a bit sporadic in what makes it to the OP (I can't put everything on or it would take up the whole thread!) so if you think I've missed something good please let me know.

Dusty, I have two nine-year old Nieces. I've bought them both bracelets from Animal and then a load of bits from the Claires sale online. Especially nail decorating sets (nail jewels etc). It may be worth seeing if Claires have a sale online if you can't get to one. Smile

Reastie · 14/10/2014 07:24

Jersey I did EXACTLY the same thing with my snow glow Elsa (turn it on and then it started singing for ages VERY loudly). That's going to be the gift that just keeps on giving on Christmas day isn't it Hmm Wink

Playmobil vet operating room £7.99 on Amazon be quick though, last time it was this price I faffed about looking for something for £3 to get free delivery and it shot up around 8am. Kept it in www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B0012K1UMO/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1413268298&sr=8-1&pi=SX200_QL40my basket hoping it would come down and it has now. I got a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse DVD for £3 to take it over £10.

YaMasYaDaWithAWigOn · 14/10/2014 07:37

Eeek don't know what happened there, both links are to the vet thing though.

YaMasYaDaWithAWigOn · 14/10/2014 07:46

Arthurbaby what about a My Pal Scout or Violet? They can be customised to say your DDs name and you choose what songs it sings and what it says it's favourite food is etc. My DS(4) and DD(3) still love theirs and after their story they have their dogs play their bedtime music.

TrisisFour · 14/10/2014 07:50

Thank you Yamas. I've ordered it! Waiting for DH to bring the presents down from the loft that I bought on boxing day last year because I think I bought the Vet Clinic for £20 in Argos (more than half price!). So that will be fab!!

NorksEnormous · 14/10/2014 07:51

Oh is it good sister? I've seen it online but not in real life, might have to pay a visit to asda! Dd is 2

jamtoast12 · 14/10/2014 08:03

dusty

If you are buying others, they do hair wraps (like the ones you get on holiday) for a pack of 10 for £8 in boots on 3 for 2.

Personally I'd get hair chalks off amazon. They're £5 and fabulous! Dds are very dark hair and they worked perfectly even on them! Excellent colors and wash our after one use.

jamtoast12 · 14/10/2014 08:05

Any valid smyths codes please?

Mipe · 14/10/2014 08:08

Thanks for the playmobil link YaMas! Thanks

Have ordered the owl/fox bag for dd, plus a USB stick which is a frog, and a batwing top for me, thank you for links xx

EustaciaVye · 14/10/2014 08:51

The playmobil vet set is great. DD loves hers. bargain at £7.99

tanya1312 · 14/10/2014 08:52

Not sure how much of a deal it is but sex and the city essential collection 1-6 is £20 in sainsburys not many out on shelves but I know cex (preowned) charge £20 xx

TrisisFour · 14/10/2014 09:08

Norks, we got DD the Asda Dolls House the year before last and it's brilliant. She's 5 now and still plays with it (although it was banished to her bedroom to make way for her Playmobil Castle to go in the lounge so doesn't get played with quite so much now).

It's definitely worth the money if you get it at the reduced price (£35 I think...).

indyandlara · 14/10/2014 09:15

Just got the Playmobil. Thank you. Great price.

Rhinopotamus · 14/10/2014 09:18

Thanks for the DVD offer. I just got tangled and Aladdin. Not much of a selection left now!

LetThereBeCupcakes · 14/10/2014 09:32

Hi all, just catching up with you all. Love this thread - I've just reserved the Toot Toot Drivers Fire Station from Argos. DS adores all things Toot Toot so he will be thrilled. He's a January baby so I've got birthday presents to sort too.

Will post if I find any good bargains.

AllThatGlistens · 14/10/2014 09:42

Flowers Flowers Flowers to all the posters for the links and the lovely pm, I am now on the case and DS will be zooming around with his "firemums hellmut" on Christmas morning!

We've had a rough few days with him and it's been so heartwarming to see people taking the time to help source something suitable for him, made me go all misty eyed over my coffee this morning.

Now I'll get back to my usual no nonsense Mumsnetter self!

Neeko · 14/10/2014 09:48

Thanks for the Playmobil and the hair chalk. Another two things off the list. Smile

Dd1 wants an iPod touch for Christmas, preferably blue. Bit of a technophobe so, does anyone know if there are ever any deals on them?

Rosvita · 14/10/2014 09:58

Can't remeber who was asking or where but in local sainsburys today I saw barbie Malibu house not with a lift but with what looked like moving stairs for £49.99 and dreamlites pillow pet for £19.99 - the one that shines lights on ceiling and think it plays music.hth

TrisisFour · 14/10/2014 10:06
