Thanks for Tesco sale heads up! Just got this for DS - horrible war related toy but he will love it... I will insist on him being one of the good guys of course... www.tesco.com/direct/toys/farm-construction-vehicles/cat9760011.cat

Anyone know what the use by dates will be for the half price thorntons hamper?? Its under Christmas stock so assuming it will last beyond Christmas? (sorry if this has been asked before am on phone and scrolling takes forever).

www.thorntons.co.uk/product/Christmas-Gifts/Christmas-Hampers/Fantastic-Chocolate-Fix-Hamper/pc/2407/c/2409/1137.uts

Also am looking for a rotating disco light thing if anyone has seen a cheap one?

Thanks to everyone contributing to this thread, its really helping me sort presents out quickly. Grin

No problem trisis. My dd has hers last christmas. I think there is a baby George version?! I managed to get mine for £30 as it was that price online at toys r us and they honoured the price in store (after some persuasion!) Good Luck!

MissRainbowBrite · 06/10/2014 16:26

Just had an email from M&S, 25% off clothing and homeware with a code. Not sure if it's specific though, ends Wednesday at midnight.

Liquidstate - I bought disco light bulbs last week from Tiger. I am planning on changing the bulb in the DC's rooms on Christmas Eve. It just looks like a normal screw-in light bulb but emits disco lights. They had it on display in the shop and it looked quite pretty. It was 8 quid.

GREYCROW · 06/10/2014 17:18

Lots of little lego type figures on ebay... BIN or open for bids

I got the TMNT ones on little skate boards for DS

Also if you type in diamond bricks... there are lots of nano block type characters, although I have ordered a whole set of 11 of the animals from Aliexpress for cheaper... Here

GREYCROW · 06/10/2014 17:25

Version 5 Baby Annabells and before are the soft non stiff ones... Version 6 and up are the stiffer more awkward ones.

I hunted high and low about two years ago for the older one and finally found old stock in an online toy shop.

CallingAllEngels · 06/10/2014 17:26

On the (very tiny) off chance that I am not the only MN Christmas baragain hunter on the thread, Albert Heijn have all their farm related promotion stuff reduced. I got DS a cow onesie (3-5) for 5 euros. They had quite a few others (horses, farmers, pigs) in that size and 6-8.

Lost my Primark virginity today and got some fleecy blankets for Christmas Eve box...amazed to find Christmas stuff as you usually have to hunt for it among the Sinterklaas stuff.

Also got some Christmas ribbon in Xenos, and they had some super cheap gift bags.

ipswitch - I am handing over ALL my UK Christmas presents to family and friends thisweekend as iit's our last trip before Christmas (and dc2 arriving!). Everyone is done apart from my dad who will get dvds/books ordered closer to the time and wrapped by my dm or dsis.

CallingAllEngels · 06/10/2014 17:28

That should say...on the off chance I'm not the only MNCBH in the Netherlands (fairly crucial part of my message missing!).

freedom2post · 06/10/2014 17:33

Ah so the chances of me finding a soft Annabell are slim to zero Sad

GREYCROW · 06/10/2014 17:44

Ebay? freedom

BadtzMaru · 06/10/2014 17:48

Imaginext batcave has 25% off at argos, £39.99 down to £29.99.

nickdrakeslovechild · 06/10/2014 17:58

Thanks JessesGirl will wait another couple of weeks then.

Mipe · 06/10/2014 18:14

CallingAllEngels I am Dutch but live in the UK and I really enjoyed reading about your Dutch bargain hunting Smile x

margaritasbythesea · 06/10/2014 18:23

I live that snow globe mlp but I cant find but in stock anywhere. Waaaaaaa!

Reastie · 06/10/2014 18:31

eco got DD a FC bath bomb. It's stashed in my wardrobe making everything smell lovely in there.

East 100 threads before christmas???

girl if you get that elusive pricing error on Hotel Chocolat let me know, I love their stuff. May or may not be interesting - wouldn't recommend their fancy advent calendar though. DH and I got one the other year and the chocolate in it wasn't special at all, just bog standard long life cheap tasting. Not a patch on their nice boxed chocs (which tbh I think have gone down in quality in the past few years too).

Thanks admiral

pamela I find joules comes up small on DD. I bought her a lovely cardi in the sale age 4-5 and she fitted it when just 3. Seems to be designed for slim build.

I have ordered a few pool toys from www.swimshop.co.uk
Some are half price, others a few pounds off. And free delivery if you spend £25.

trixymalixy · 06/10/2014 18:47

cute christmas pudidng sack half price

TheNightIsDark · 06/10/2014 18:49

Place marking whilst waiting for my OU grant to go in!

CallingAllEngels · 06/10/2014 18:54

It's a challenge mipe Grin . I order a lot on Amazon and get delivered to my parents in the UK since they scrapped the free delivery over £25 here. Has taken me 7 years to get my head around Dutch shopping habits, but I'll admit I still miss British supermarkets and the High Street where I know exactly what I can buy where. I miss the choice (and am praying Sainsbury's have selection boxes and mince pies in this weekend!).

QuietNinjaTardis · 06/10/2014 18:54

I know its unlikely but can you stack codes on the Molton brown website and if you can does anyone have one for free delivery? Cheeky ask I know.
