Great stocking fillers in the Jack Wills sale here

I love this thread! Almost done, but I remember 'the twitch' last year! Some bargains are just too good to miss Grin

candykane25 · 09/10/2014 14:08

I have just got my DD the Happyland cherry lane cottage and the Hello Kitty Kitchen from the ELC half term half price sale, that's her main christmas presents sorted and saved sixty pounds!

All her stocking fillers are Amazon or sale bargains too, so far have spent ninety one pounds and for that she has the cottage, the kitchen, a scooter, a piano, a wooden pull along dog, christmas book, Cbeebies christmas dvd and a toy kermit.
Gotta love this thread.

Elvish · 09/10/2014 14:08

Thanks SisterMoonshine I've raised a query thing but I'm hoping they might turn up eventually.

Clarinet I'm getting books for all the children I buy small token gifts for. Got loads from the Book People including some sets in the sale that aren't in a slip case which I intend to split.

IMO (could be very wrong) you can always fit in a few books when you're up to your eyes in toys.

I just picked up the ASDA Christmas gift guide & thought I'd let you know that they have a gorgeous looking duvet set with ski chalets, skiers and trees on it. Co-ordinating cushions & throws too. Other sets had a big photo of a deer on (similar to one of the other shops but can't remember which) and red check. Available from 16 Oct & comes in single, double & king.

PinkAndBlueBedtimeBears · 09/10/2014 14:24

I'm after a thick blanket to go on our double bed if anyone sees any good bargins? Trying to hold off turning the heating on until November as £ is tight, so this will come in helpful and it's a good excuse for a lovely blanket as dp hates them!

Clarinet9 · 09/10/2014 14:26

Agree Elvish it is one of those weird houses where the kids have very few books.
I was wondering whether I should avoid them since I wondered how popular they are with kids but maybe I should just send books?

(my own dc who is currently leading the pack for the highly competitive title of 'brat of the year' made a sarky comment about always getting a book for a birthday/stocking gift.

I am seriously tempted to get either only a book (t-shirt too because that was included in the sneer) or not get a book or t-shirt and just leave them with 3 things!!!)

Clarinet9 · 09/10/2014 14:27

Oh wish I had got that Arctic Fox blanket looks like a lovely bargain.....

WildFlowersAttractBees · 09/10/2014 14:30

Thanks Curling, a bargain JW hoodie for DS!

Elvish · 09/10/2014 14:34

Tricky isn't it, when DD gets books I always appreciate it even if we already have a copy. If we have it then the new one goes into the present box to be re-gifted.

Brat of the year title is taken by DD who is listing every item in the Smyths gift guide for her presents this year whilst totally ignoring any reasonable requests such as get dressed and put your shoes on Hmm

StillWearingOddSocks · 09/10/2014 14:34

Thanks to the MNetter who posted the spongebob lego link :-) duly bought & excited!

AndHarry · 09/10/2014 14:56

Not Christmas but for London-based Frozen fans the Royal Albert Hall is doing 3 sing-along film screenings on 17th November. 0-4's go free (2 per paying adult) and 5-16's go half price.

I have a one time use 60% off code for Wauwaa, I can't afford to use it! Such a shame for it to go to waste as it expires today, pm me if you would like it.

mootime · 09/10/2014 15:19

First post of the year!(I've been restrained...)
Amazon has loads of B toys with 30% and more off. Also just got DS a box of lego bricks and more for £26 rather than £43.

glenthebattleostrich · 09/10/2014 15:27

Tewi, this is dd's mlp from bab (Christ that looks odd, feel like I'm in a spy thriller with all the code)

I've hopefully attached a PIC of it. Its quite big but definitely think its the experience you are paying for. Saying that, we got rainbow last January and she's still a favourite.

lizzywig · 09/10/2014 15:31

This is my first post on the bargain thread and my first contribution....unless I've missed this up thread. GHDs at a good price here www.lookfantastic.com/health-beauty/ghd/ghd-hair-irons.list?utm_source=EBM-_THG-Deals_Oct08&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=EBM-_2096342113&affil=thgemail. I'm not sure about delivery cost but they do have a pair for £89. Topcashback also offer 7% cash back.

TheImprobableGirl · 09/10/2014 15:32

Elsa snowglow arrived and sings! Woohoo.... [Thanks] jersey

o0 · 09/10/2014 15:45

I was just in Tesco and they have boxes of jelly babies/fruit pastilles and others for £2 down from £4. They are big boxes of 500g. I've got some to put away in the Christmas Eve hamper.

Bumblebee6 · 09/10/2014 15:58

Has anyone seen any deals on the Cayla doll? I was thinking maybe to join very and use the £30 off for new customers but I can't even find that anymore!
Loving all the top tips for bargains!

GodPlayedByJamesMason · 09/10/2014 16:02

Norks just got toot toot garage for DS2, thanks so much!

TrisisFour · 09/10/2014 16:27

Bumble, I went to use the £30 off today and I couldn't find it either... They had a 10% off for new customers aswell which is nowhere near as good when I was only going to spend £50!!

My Thorntons Hamper arrived aswell, very pleased with the dates. We also did the 5 for £20 deal and what was in the picture for the Hamper, was different to what actually arrived. So I cheekily swapped some of the 5 for £20 for some of the boxes in the hamper Grin.

girliefriend · 09/10/2014 16:34

I got this playmobil arc for dd today, it is MASSIVE!! So will easily do as her main present and for less than £40 is a good bargain I think playmobil

Am sure this has already been posted but the Sainsburys toy sale is due to start on oct 22nd I think..

almamatters · 09/10/2014 16:54

I still can't find any of those special MLPs anywhere, I haven't even seen them, nor has DD, but we neeeeeeeeeeeeeeed them Grin

1980jm · 09/10/2014 16:55

Thanks for the Molton Brown £10 off, split my order and got loads of extras using the deal for £10 room fragrance reeds (no code details on the website) and HOUSE10 on one half, then BAZAAR45 on the other bit (gives you a free travel hand stuff set). I'll spread it across a few gifts.
