BHS have their Christmas stock on line with 25% off using code VIP25 lots of gift sets and beautiful cards and gift wrap Grin

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 09/10/2014 12:06

Not a bargain but saw on FB that Minecraft Lego will be released in time for Christmas. I think it'll be popular!

We've got the ELC kitchen and it's played with everyday without fail and every child that comes to the house loves it. I got it for £100 but seen it as low as £75

NorksEnormous · 09/10/2014 12:13

oh this looks great! disney princess kitchen was £119.99 now £49.99 at toys r us. looks a good size and comes with accessories including mrs potts the teapot!

TeWiSavesTheDay · 09/10/2014 12:15

Back on the MLP side of life - I see build-A-bear has the main ponies for £19 each (accessories ludicrous), does anyone have one? Are they worth it without the building experience?

YaMasYaDaWithAWigOn · 09/10/2014 12:30

TeWi I personally don't like the look of the Build A Bear MLPs, the muzzle looks strange to me. Much prefer the TY versions.

BadtzMaru · 09/10/2014 12:31

To add to scope's post above about BHS you can also use code VIP10 for free delivery on top of the VIP25 one. I've just ordered this cute dressing gown with matching one for teddy for my DD.

izzybizzybuzzybees · 09/10/2014 12:39

Disappointed to read that the asda wooden kitchen is quite small. I guess I could have figured that out by looking at the measurements. I'm unlikely to be able to get to a store to see it in the flesh. I was going to get it as a joint present for my 2 yr old and 5yr old :(

TeWiSavesTheDay · 09/10/2014 12:40

Thanks YaMas - I might leave that up to DH to go and see them and decide then.

Looking on the toysrus website they had a few MLP things reduced - the 3" ponies are £3.74 BUT you can't choose which pony you get sent so one to look for in-store if you want a specific pony.

2anddone · 09/10/2014 12:47

Norks my dd got the princess kitchen 3 years ago, it always seems to be on sale for £50 as that's what I paid then. Word of warning to anyone getting it it's very hard to build and plastic is quite flimsy, we nearly had a Christmas Eve disaster when a piece snapped!! That aside it's a fab kitchen, still gets played with daily and bearing up really well Grin

HelpMeGetOutOfHere · 09/10/2014 12:50

dd 8) loves the build a bear MLP's she has few now. they are quite nice and I think most MLP fans would adore them.

Anyone Costco members? the brochure for deals active from Monday has come in and they have frozen dolls my size 38" anna and elsa for £35.98 inc VAT a large kidkraft once upon a time dollhouse, that is huge for £107.98.

Online they have the Kidkraft retro kitchen for £79 inc delivery. that seems quite a good deal.

NorksEnormous · 09/10/2014 12:52

Oh thanks for that 2anddone. We have the ikea kitchen so I couldn't justify buying another kitchen but thought it looked lovely!

HelpMeGetOutOfHere · 09/10/2014 12:53

Pics hopefully attached

Izzy I'd get the ikea one. Ours is played with daily by dd and any visiting kids.

NorksEnormous · 09/10/2014 13:13

Wasn't someone looking for toot toot drivers yesterday? Garage and police station is reduced in smyths

Purpleflamingos · 09/10/2014 13:14

Sorry if this has been done...my dmother took me into wilkinsons today as she needed fixadent. Anyway, I wandered absently down the toy aisle and discovered their own fire engine emergency Lego set, 415 pieces, half price at £7. A friend was telling me over the summer that it is compatible with actual Lego although I can't vouch for that.
Also picked up frozen jigsaws and an octonauts jigsaw and some other bits.
I got dd a dolls cot from their last year (the last time I went in) and it's very pretty and the perfect size.

CrimsonDay · 09/10/2014 13:16

This might have been done alreayd but Mothercare have got a half price sale on toys Link here

GerrardWinstanley · 09/10/2014 13:17

Norks Thanks for posting the body shop code. Just got 6 of their mini handcreams to go in the gift bags for DD2s nursery teachers at a bargainous £2.33 each SmileThanks.

For anyone ordering online from the Disney store, be warned that my delivery just arrived in a box covered with the words Disney Store and large pictures of Mickey Mouse ! If that parcel had arrived after school was out it would have been disastrous. DD1's belief in Father Christmas is already wavering. I think that would have been the final straw Sad

GardenWorm · 09/10/2014 13:20

Thanks Jersey (I think!); Snow Glow Elsa has arrived! Thanks

SisterMoonshine · 09/10/2014 13:44

Elvish, I ordered 3 of those SODIAL cute star lights on 2nd Sept and just got them last week - just about on the last day of the 'estimated delivery'.

NorksEnormous · 09/10/2014 13:50

Thanks admiral all comments welcome you never know when they will be useful!!

Has anyone mentioned the book people have a flash sale on, some nice stuff, family organisers, and some Christmas crafty stuff as well as bit book sets.

Might be worth a look

Clarinet9 · 09/10/2014 13:55

I am stalking ebay for some Frozen stuff but nothing apart from a buy now on stickers so far......!

Clarinet9 · 09/10/2014 13:57

I Need something for a 10 year old buy and his sisters age 7 and 4. They are the kids who have everything (nearly!!) their living room looks like the Early learning centre storeroom so I haven't a clue.

What do 10 year olds like?

I am keen to avoid Tech and lego

Mum2Pea · 09/10/2014 13:57

Have just received another of my Aliexpress buys, unfortunately this time, it was not a success
www.aliexpress.com/item/New-year-gift-beautiful-music-box-jewelry-box-jewelry-box-pre-piece-sale-with-free-shipping/754360984.html
