I can't remember whether it was in the bargains threads or the specific Aliexpress thread but someone on there wrote a load of information about the safety checks that are carried out and that they have the same as in Europe, UK. TBH honest, they have to have when you think about it, because most products are made over there!!

All made in the same place but just shipped all over the World...

Needtoemigrate · 07/10/2014 11:00

Is that tablet any good ? Got dd one last year and was rubbish so looking for better one

Thank you for the tip off about the frozen tins being back in stock. Have just ordered 3 for the present box. Or maybe dd can have one. Also got a lunar Lenny wow toy for £4.50 for a nephew's token gift so glad I looked.

Needtoemigrate · 07/10/2014 11:16

Frozen tins are sold at asda can't remember price but was just pennies over £4 . Saw them yesterday and that's the usual price there.

MooseyMoo · 07/10/2014 11:20

jamtoast12 · 07/10/2014 11:40

Not sure if it's been mentioned but the Disney store in liverpool has every conceivable frozen item in stock! Literally half the store was frozen?

PinkAndBlueBedtimeBears · 07/10/2014 11:43

Tesco have buy 1 get one free on Disney DVDs
check that that's the right offer though, I only caught it in passing on the tv an hour ago!

HopeAndStories · 07/10/2014 11:44

Just saw this make up bundle on halfpriceperfumes facebook page, rrp £84.99 for £10.

dandelionsRflowers · 07/10/2014 11:47

Glad to help with the Frozen tin. Kicking myself for not buying the busy book from Home Bargains a couple of months ago but dd was with me and I wouldn't have been able to hide it from her. So if anyone sees it at a decent price let me know.

Also thinking about a nice way to present all the frozen bits ice sculpture a step to far Grin any ideas? I've bought the tin, a puzzle, nail varnish, bubble bath, pencil set...

IAlreadyToldYou · 07/10/2014 11:49

dandelions, what about cellophane wrap with snowflakes? Tied with blue ribbon?

dandelionsRflowers · 07/10/2014 12:00

Thanks IAlready

I've just noticed The Works do click and collect, not every store though not mine It would be nice to avoid the chaos of looking round the shop and risking delivery from Yodel.

Picturesinthefirelight · 07/10/2014 12:16

Any teenage Divergence/Veronica Rith fans The Works have a box set if the first three books (dd has the first one but its cheaper to buy the set than the next two alone). I have no idea what it's about except there is a film due out & dd who likes dark gothy type books loves them.

MissRainbowBrite · 07/10/2014 12:27

Dandelions, our Home Bargains still has loads of Frozen busy books so definitely worth trying another branch if you can travel to one Smile

Guitargirl · 07/10/2014 12:30

Girl - we do a Christmassy breakfast on Dec 1st when our elf arrives. This year am planning on doing a frozen themed breakfast and making the table all nice and I think Sven and Olaf might arrive then. The other frozen things I have a frozen bag from the disney shop, frozen wrapping paper from matalan and plan on wrapping things in that. Although I do like the cellophane idea too. Ebay do white wicker baskets with blue ribbon, you could put things in that with the cellophane.

Needtoemigrate · 07/10/2014 12:33

Dandelions- is the busy book the one with the little figures in ?

HopeAndStories · 07/10/2014 12:38

I love The Book People. I just got Wisden rrp £50 for £9.99 (I get each years version every Christmas for DH), 3 other Wisden collection books rrp £23.97 for £4.99, 1,000 Dot to Dot Masterpieces rrp £9.99 for £3.99 and Sweets made easy (from the recent TV show) rrp £16.99 for £7.99.

I added the BESTTREAT code but it worked out cheaper not to use it Hmm as I spent just over £25 the delivery was free but I would have had to pay delivery if I used the code.

Needtoemigrate · 07/10/2014 12:47
