Mine looks exactly like that one Smile, when I say mine, I mean dd3s, although he's wild cute, might have to snaffle him.

CallingAllEngels · 29/09/2014 10:53

Popped into Sainsbury's on Friday and they had reductions on some of their craft stuff.

Got a paint your own flower pot set for 2 pounds and a make/paint your own wooden car for 1.50. Will be great for presents for friend's children.

They also had big tubs of Roses for 5 pounds and lots of Christmas bits like chocolate money and shortbread.

The Card factory had great deals on Christmas gifts bags (6 medium or 4 large for 1 pound) and lots of wrap and cards.

No selection boxes yet! Hope they get them out before my last trip to the UK in 2 weeks.

pigleychez · 29/09/2014 11:12

calling There was some small selection boxes in Poundland today. I know Tesco has a xmas food isle so might be worth a look there too.

Izzy Thanks. Sadly not big enough for DD1 though who's 6 :(

izzybizzybuzzybees · 29/09/2014 11:13

Aaw that's a pity pigley. They had all sizes in stock a few days ago so may be worth keeping an eye on?

CallingAllEngels · 29/09/2014 11:16

Thanks pigley - we have one last trip in 2 weeks before I will be over here (NL) until our Christmas baby arrives. Will check out Tesco and Poundland if I can. Christmas isn't Christmas without a selection box!

PumpkinsMummy · 29/09/2014 11:18

Does anyone know if there will be another bargainous Red subscription this year? That will be mil's pressie sorted. Am now buying up bargains for the present cupboard as DS has started nursery and they seem to do whole class parties, so any under a fiver boys/girls/neutral pressies spotted would be appreciated.

Rosvita · 29/09/2014 11:37

Sorry but how do you go about getting NHS discount at Boots?Worked for the NHS for years and didn't realise I was eligible for a discount!thanks

SpottyTeacakes · 29/09/2014 11:37

John lewis had loads of unbargainous Christmas stuff out Grin

TrisisFour · 29/09/2014 11:41

Pigley, do keep an eye on the Matalan website. With the duvets they seemed to sell out but then have more in stock within a couple of days. Definitely worth keeping a look-out. Smile

Pumpkins, Home Bargains is your friend. Whenever I go in I tend to pick up a couple of bargainous items. I have two separate boxes, one for boys and one for girls, full. I would say to make sure you get things for their age +2 years. Some stuff that I've bought I haven't used and now it's a little young for DD's age (and her friends)...

wibblyjelly · 29/09/2014 11:50

Is it just the loom bands from overseas that may have safety issues? I've bought some other plastic bits such as the tooth paste squeezer, and wondering if I should get rid of them?

Badvoc123 · 29/09/2014 11:50

Co op have festive haribo and giant choc coins in :)
Am off to John Lewis next week so shall report back!

ItIsntJustAPhase · 29/09/2014 12:02

ItIsntJustAPhase · 29/09/2014 12:03

And thanks Maranello, I have some Frozen bits for Christmas now. Phew!

GREYCROW · 29/09/2014 12:17

Really ItIsnt? I'll have to then... Sounds fab.

BadtzMaru · 29/09/2014 12:19

That looks interesting GREYCROW, just ordered one for DH, he loves gadgety stuff.

GREYCROW · 29/09/2014 12:31

Seems to be quite a few apps on Play as well as the official one too.

loaderloader · 29/09/2014 12:31

Playmobil Native American set on Amazon £12.84 (from £32.99). No idea if DS will have a clue what to do with it but couldnt resist.
here

TrisisFour · 29/09/2014 12:38

ItIsn't and Grey, DH loves gadgets and even though I work for a technology company, I appear to be phobic. What on earth is it??? What does it do (other than make you look a little crazy if you wear it...)?

momwhereismy · 29/09/2014 12:39

Wilko and poundlans has all their selection boxes and advent calendars out :)

KittyMouseRocks · 29/09/2014 12:40

I got this baby monitor today from sainsburys reduced to £21. It said the original price was £69.99 - currently reduced on Amazon to £46.50.
