No ikea Christmas stuff here yet either (Southampton)

Iamblossom · 01/10/2014 07:58

Superdry Beanie

Not particularly bargainous but my 10 year old really wants one of these and I was quite impressed it was free delivery.

FernArable · 01/10/2014 08:07

Barbie advent calendar only £7.69 on Amazon or Lego Friends £16.99. Sorry no links just got an email with them on.

TrisisFour · 01/10/2014 08:07

Glad you're all loving the bits and pieces from Shen Yuan's store - I think it's about time he started giving MN discount!!! Wink

cabster · 01/10/2014 08:08

jesses Warrington Ikea had all of 3 packets of Xmas cards on sale, it did however have signs up outside the store saying that new stuff was going on sale in Wednesday (today)... Might be worth giving them a ring to see if the new stock includes Xmas textiles? Wish I'd waited!

Thanks to whoever posted the Bigjigs link further up the thread, MIL will be thrilled with her pink Seaton tram Grin

SpottyTeacakes · 01/10/2014 08:14

Do you think tesco will do their buy one get two free selection boxes this year?

ModerationInEverything · 01/10/2014 08:18

Is there a way on aliexpress to search for all items of a particular seller? Such as the much loved Shen Yuan?

PamelaEwing · 01/10/2014 08:24

Moderation just type 'Ali express Shen Yuan' into your google browser or whatever browser you use and it will bring up direct link options.

RJnomore · 01/10/2014 08:27

Spotty I think last year they did buy two get two free. Their little boxes are £2.50 just now so I am sure they will do some kind of offer.

starlight36 · 01/10/2014 08:31

Thanks to JessesGirl for Gadget the Robot price drop. We missed out on the Robotgate cheap ones last year and have been loath to pay full price since. Thanks also to whoever posted the £7.90 Digibirds - two arrived yesterday. Both DC transfixed by the adverts cunningly placed between the Peppa Pig marathon on Channel 5 each morning.

For anyone on Kidstart or thinking of setting up an account you now get 2% cashback on Amazon purchases.

JessesGirl · 01/10/2014 08:31

Thanks for the replies about Ikea, I need to go in there anyway to look at storage which makes me irrationally excited so I won't be too disappointed if there is nothing Christmassy :)

ModerationInEverything · 01/10/2014 08:37

Thanks Pamela Flowers

WildFlowersAttractBees · 01/10/2014 08:51

Another Lakeland £5 off a £30 spend code if anyone needs it. It is one use only.

SisterMoonshine · 01/10/2014 09:21

Got the stackable snowmen pens/pencils. They're very cute - perfect stocking filler.

And I've gone and ordered the google cardboard for £2.30 from the link earlier - thankyou :)
I've been googling and it looks like it can be used with an iphone, there are 5 iphone apps and apparently once updated to IOS 8 can possibly use the google cardboard apps - maybe. And the magnetic switch thingie not usable on the iphone. But for £2 odd it could be a bit of fun on xmas day.

You know, thanks to these threads, I'm nearly there!
Just a couple of main pressies: wooden trainset and possibly a 3DS.

Waitingonasunnyday · 01/10/2014 09:34

Myhensareladies, how old are you looking for? DD has some barely played with bits at back of a cupboard waiting to go to charity shop, you are very welcome to them. But are prob only 1-2 years old? If that's any good they are yours!

admiralclingus · 01/10/2014 09:40

Right I need honest opinions on gadget! I really should NOT buy anything else this month but dd saw him in Smyth's and was a bit taken with him and if he's good I'll buy him and starve for a week

So indecisiv!!!!!

scandichick · 01/10/2014 10:12

Did you know there's an Ali Express android app?

Everything looks much better on the phone though, I've picked out several things only to recoil once I see them on the laptop...

JessesGirl · 01/10/2014 10:25

No problem starlight, last year the DTs were too young for Gadget so I wasn't too bothered about missing out on him for £10.00 BUT this year it is the first thing they have actually asked for typical so I've been tracking it the past couple of months and then I got the price drop alert from Camel this morning. It looks like it went down to £24.00 sometime in November last year but I need it for their birthday which is the end of October so I don't think I'm going to get it any cheaper before then.

Debating whether to get the Google cardboard thingy for my dad. It will be a great source of entertainment for about 10 minutes then discarded but at that price does it really matter? I'm going to regret it if I don't aren't I?!

momwhereismy · 01/10/2014 10:30
