These Kitty Sticky Memo Notes look cute for 36p :).

zipzap · 21/09/2014 17:53

mamapants the book people usually have a whole set of all the roald Dahl kids books - about 16 of them in a nice slip case - for about £16 which is a much more cost effective way to buy them!

LapsedTwentysomething · 21/09/2014 17:54

Hi all. I'm thinking about Snow Glow Elsa or My Friend Cayla for DD. I only started thinking about Christmas shopping yesterday so I've missed all the bargains so far. Must keep an eye!

3pigsinblanketsandasausagerole · 21/09/2014 17:55

I can confirm set of roald Dahl from book people is £16, my boys will be unwrapping these

Taffeta · 21/09/2014 17:55

Just a bit off feedback re the Troll key rings on Amazon. I know they are cheap, but their hair falls out within seconds. We had one each - one for me and one for the DC and it happened to all of them within a day.

We now all have trolls that look like zombies have eaten their brains. Grin Niche.

Myhensareladies · 21/09/2014 18:00

Does anyone know when the free lego with the sun or Mail start?

Myhensareladies · 21/09/2014 18:01

Has anyone started packing yet? I'm desperate too...

Feartheescalator · 21/09/2014 18:19

GirlWithTheYellowHat, the tins were similar to this
www.theworks.co.uk/p/activity-packs/disney-minnie-mouse-activity-tin/9781472324856 . I got a Minnie Mouse (DD2's favourite) and a Frozen one (DD1's favourite). I haven't opened yet as they are for Christmas but the box says they contain a story book, colouring book, activity book, 50 stickers, 2 posters and 4 felt tip pens

evelynj · 21/09/2014 18:23

Free Lego started year with the mail.

Ta for new thread :)

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 21/09/2014 18:23

Thanks Fear, my search was bringing up the £20 ones! Might take a walk tomorrow to WH Smith on my lunch. DD1 is another frozen fanatic Confused

KnackeredMuchly · 21/09/2014 18:28

YY to super shit troll keyrings. They weren't a gift they were for me! V disappointed.

TheOneWithTheHair · 21/09/2014 18:28

Thanks Reastie and thanks to the poster who linked to the spy stuff.

xalyssx · 21/09/2014 18:29

What can I get for a 7month old for £2?

JerseySpud · 21/09/2014 18:31

£40 off apparently

Keepcalmanddrinkwine · 21/09/2014 18:33

It is indeed £40 less than Isme and Very. Don't know if it will be in Argos 3 for 2 though. This could be the best price for the Frozen castle.

IAlreadyToldYou · 21/09/2014 18:33

Marking place. Thanks reastieThanks

Blondieminx · 21/09/2014 18:43

DH came home all proud of himself because he had found some fun finger lights in Primark, a packet was £1.50 I've shown him the link on here, and he's been told to check with mumsnet before he buys anythingGrin

ecofreckle · 21/09/2014 19:18

Notso thanks for the wooden puzzle idea. I ordered one for my Dad because reviews say it is good for adults too. That should keep him out of trouble busy on Christmas day. Thanks also Reastie for new thread summary; I checked out the John Lewis hankies and they only have 'S' left so perfect for my Dad too! They'll be delivered free to my local Waitrose tomorrow. Not all I have to do is get in and out of there without spending the money I've saved!

ipswichwitch · 21/09/2014 19:20

Blondie I also got them from tesco, as I also have a pirate chest to fill! Well, a pirate chest piñata for DS1 birthday next month :)
