Did anyone ever start a separate thread about which dresses/dolls to buy and which to avoid.

I see people on here liking the ones they have but i never seem to see which seller they used.
I am overseas so Sains/Asda etc are not possible for me.

So a plea if anyone has nice 50cm dolls can they please say which sellers they used, likewise with an Elsa dress and a swimming costume(if anyone has one of those)

Also how much is baby Sven supposed to cost? (could name a good seller here too)

Also, (sorry for all the questions today!) Does anyone have any idea where I can get a barbie car for a good price (hoping for under a tenner if possible). Doesn't have to be an actual barbie car, just one that will fit barbies in iyswim. Really gutted as the dds hadn't played with theirs for ages so I gave it charity a couple of months ago (without them knowing) and a day or two later they were asking where their car was! And they haven't stopped looking and asking for it since (bad mother). So looks like I'll be buying another for Christmas!

When DP is up I'll ask him where he got my Elsa and Anna dolls from - they're real Disney store and they're the Barbie sized ones if that's any good?

If anyone has a b&m near them I just bought DN a doll set for £14.99 called Freaky Freya and she comes with 25 pieces of clothing/accessories. She's a bit like monster high? But cheaper. She's really cool, dolls were never like this when I was a kid!

Matalan have their famous gorgeous Xmas duvets in stock - good buy now whole the 20% off code is still valid.

In their 3for2 section I found a gorgeous dinosaur money box and they had a monster one as well, plus xmassy hot water bottles.

Lastly they have Xmas tableware, charger plates, serving plates, normal crockery, mugs, polar bear salt and pepper and Xmas pudding teapot. It's lovely stuff.

Also winters throws are 2 for £6, I got a woodland theme one and a winters forest one.

The Works currently have a lot of bits in clearance. I got pick up sticks for 59p, dinosaur dominos and toddler bird balance puzzle which all look good. Treasuries of books are 3 for £10, they've got smelly stories, animal stories, Xmas stories to name a few and I had a look at them in store last week and they are lovely for around ages 2-4/5. If you order with them as a first time customer and make an account they send you a code for money off another order made in the next 24 hours so that's worth bearing in mind.

Beware if ordering for store collection at argos ( for tomorrow ), if you are reserving items that have a sale price/reduced price then the price may change as offers change on a wed, apparently Argos won't honour yesterday's prices ( so items such as the robotic dog thingy may go back up to full price tomorrow ). I'm not bothering with Argos, just going to sit and wait for Amazon to price match and buy from them ( if they price match ).

I've also ordered a pull apart Olaf from Amazon for £11.99, it's a plastic one but i really needed one who's pieces all come apart for my friends birthday surprise. There are plush talking ones but he comes apart and retracts so all the bits are attached.

Lucy the dog is now £22.99 in B&M.

Another random question. My 3 year old (nearly 4) nephew has a really cheeky sense of humour and loves anything to do with wee, poo, pants etc. His favourite book is called 'Don't put your pants on your head, Fred'. He thinks it's hilarious and I'd love to get him a few more books like this. Can anyone recommend anything bargainous you might have seen that fits that bill please? I remember my dds having a book about people (or maybe animals) queuing to use the toilet bit can't for the life of me remember what it was called. Think he'd like that if anyone knows what I mean? It went something like so-and-so is using the loo bt someone else needs to do a poo...etc.
