Ialreadytoldyou, the book people have a set of 5 different Aliens Love Underpants books for £7.99. (includes the Christmas themed Panta Claus one.)

www.thebookpeople.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/qs_product_tbp?productId=515806&storeId=10001&catalogId=10051&langId=100&searchTerm=panta&filters=9books

There is usually a free delivery code floating about too.

Treadlightly · 23/09/2014 15:26

I just got my £30 debenhams gift card via email.
Thanks for posting about it whoever it was Grin

Elvish · 23/09/2014 15:26

IAlreadyToldYou how about this, I was about 16 when I discovered it and loved it then - a true classic!
mole
There is also a "Plop up" version!

IAmAPaleontologist · 23/09/2014 15:29

Elvish I love that book! Our copy is falling apart it has been read so much.

IAmAPaleontologist · 23/09/2014 15:32

Oh and IAlreadyToldYou I think you are thinking of "Who's in the loo" Also a brilliant book. I love the Rhino who had a hot curry Grin.

ipswichwitch · 23/09/2014 15:35

DS1 also has the plop up version Grin , we need to get a new one soon as the pop up bits not working so well anymore!
He also has pirates/dinosaurs love underpants and I have "aliens love underpants" and "the dinosaur that pooped Christmas" (written by the McFly boys!) for his Christmas Eve box :) got the last 2 books from the book people pretty cheaply.

admiralclingus · 23/09/2014 15:37

ialreadytoldyou how about the dinosaur that pooped the past
Or the dinosaur that pooped Christmas

Hilarious books and dd loves them too!

Does anyone know where I can get a personalised Alice band cheaply? Its a bit of a joke present for a friend with a name that never appears on personalised stuff. She had a bit of a "sulk" about the fact she'd never had one as a child so want to get her one to go with her actual present! I don't really want to pay £8 for one though which seems to bervthe average price!

imsureineverdo · 23/09/2014 15:39

IAlreadyToldYou - has he got Father Christmas needs a wee?!

scopeisawesome123 · 23/09/2014 15:43

I bought these for my sil and dn. 11.85 inc postage but are 15 and up everywhere else. Arrived with two days and was packaged brilliant. They are lovely.

I thought this was a good comfy bargain for any Staw Wars fans although it is not branded. You can get other colours

marne2 · 23/09/2014 15:44

scopeisawesome123 · 23/09/2014 15:46

wigglesrock · 23/09/2014 15:54

IAlreadytoldYou - are you thinking of "who's in the loo" ? My dds loved it, in fact my youngest brought it home last week from nursery school Smile

wigglesrock · 23/09/2014 15:58

If it is Who's in the loo - it's 3.49 with the Book People

JohnnyDeppsfuturewife · 23/09/2014 16:07

ialreadytoldyou Not sure if your nephew is too old for this but dd1 absolutely loved it

www.amazon.co.uk/Peek-Poo-Guido-van-Genechten/dp/1408800195

It's about a rabbit who asks to see inside each of his animal friends' nappies. Every page has a flappy with a picture of different poos underneath. Mil was very Blush as she's quite prudish!

Dd1 also likes Nicholas Allan (the queen's knickers, Father Christmas needs a wee) and last Christmas the book people had a collection of 3 of his books for about £4.99 which dd1 loved.

Thank you buddy that was a brilliant tip. It is about £3 cheaper from Costco but I'm going to check John Lewis and amazon tomorrow and buy from the cheapest one. It's really for dd2s birthday but I like to have all the presents bought early so I can jiggle them between her birthday and Xmas otherwise dd1 gets upset if she thinks dd2 has received more for Xmas!

lucysmam · 23/09/2014 16:17

TheImprobable it was definitely Poundworld (blue one) for frozen tableware (that I saw on fb)-although I was in both this morning (meant to be buying baking supplies but may have got Halloween bits too Grin ). Didn't spy giftwrap though so will have to look out for that at the weekend.

Wilko's were putting out Christmas stock too but I didn't have time to stop and see what offers there were.

Reastie · 23/09/2014 16:17

You see I must be weird but I hate the dinosaur that pooped book. We were given it for DD and DH and I both hide it from DD Blush . We love Father Christmas needs a wee though, that's fab. I got mine a few years ago in Waterstones in January down to £1. Never seen it so cheap anywhere since and now wish I had bought loads.

Wow thank you for all the replies! Yes, Who's in the Loo! That's it! Added that and a couple of others he hasn't got to my basket at the book people. Does anyone have a promo code by any chance?

Tried to get on The Works page but it's broken at the moment. They've advertised a code as an apology to get 25% off your next order when it's back on. Code is SORRY
