What would you like for Christmas this year?

I love to hear what other people are coveting, but also looking for inspiration for my family/friends.

My mum has already decided what she is giving me as a combined Xmas/birthday gift - a one year membership to the Tate galleries :o

DH and I usually give each other surprises but this year I have asked him for...

Lego Blush :o

I don't even want a big set, just something little would be fab as I have never had any, despite being desperate for some as a child

MsVanRein · 25/08/2014 22:18

Aww fuzzpig I hope you get your Lego! Smile

MsVanRein · 26/08/2014 23:52

Dream list is perfectly acceptable Grin

I've found something I really would love- a liberty print sewing box. Definitely on my list.

A new car or a pair of Christian louboutins, will probably end up with something completely different

MummyKnight · 27/08/2014 00:10

A new food processor, ours got dropped and now it's died :-(

A magic fairy to do all the housework!

MsVanRein · 27/08/2014 00:18

MummyKnight I would like a housework fairy too!

Also I think I need a new hair dryer so that's on the list. I am useless though, no idea which one to buy.

Some of those leather uggs and some new ghds as mine are over 10 years old and about to give up the ghost.

BikeRunSki · 29/08/2014 20:40

Links of London Sweetie necklace, just like every year. I am saving coppers and 5ps and any birthday money until I get one. Sadly my family is big on presents rather than cash! I wanted one for my 40th, but they clubbed together and sent me to New York, the bastards! Confused

Lovelydiscusfish · 29/08/2014 21:24

The only thing I want is a soda-stream! Am telling dh about this at every possible opportunity.

MsVanRein · 29/08/2014 21:33

BikeRunSki - that's bloody awful! Your family must hate you Wink

Good luck with getting the necklace, good things come to those who waif and all that. Maybe this is your year Smile

Catmint · 29/08/2014 21:47

Guess what Msvan.....I got a sleeping bag with legs for my birthday!

Happy catmint! GrinGrinGrin

MsVanRein · 29/08/2014 22:31

Woohoo Catmint! I am a bit jealous I have flu and feel like a sleeping bag with legs would be the perfect environment in which to recover Grin

Happy belated birthday btw!

Happy DH and I bought a SodaStream for our crystal wedding anniversary (he used to drink loads of soda water and the SodaStream gives you crystal clear sparkly water.......Grin )

Definately one of our best household buys.

I want a widget that foams and heats milk for coffee (I don't like doing milk in the microwave it gets skin on it bleurgh ) off to Google....

GiveMeCheesecake · 29/08/2014 23:27

A KitchenAid in my dreams
Tons of cookbooks currently on my Amazon wishlist
Pair of Converse
BBC Good Food subscription (got one last year and I'd love for it to be renewed)

MsVanRein · 30/08/2014 08:24

Cheesecake that's a good list. I got a kitchenaid for my birthday a couple of years ago - absolutely love it.

I bought a Food Processor (no way was I going to wait until Christmas Blush )

I kept thinking "Oh, I'll make pastry/salsa/grate some cheddar" then think "No, I broke the Food Pro"
But now, I can Grin

MsVanRein · 31/08/2014 00:59

Which one did you get 70?

OP posts:
aubreye · 31/08/2014 09:54

-New ski goggles from Oakley- skiing later this year and old ones broke
-Mac Book Pro retina- brother works for Apple in America and said he could get one for me.
-Marc Jacobs perfume- Mine is running out
-PJ Bottoms- Probably like spottymoo from Joules
-An album by Ludvico Einaudi- I'm thinking I Giorni

I'm a little high maintenance but at least in never worried about what to get when it comes to December.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 31/08/2014 11:40

MsVan - it's a Kenwood 3litre bowl 900w (it's got a blender too, but I have a hand-held blender stick )
I went for the largest bowl/largest motor that wasn't silly money and didn't have 1001 extra faffy bits that I won't use. (It does have extra faffy bits of course, but I might use some of them )

I did Envy over the Magimix (and I was waiting to see if I got a tax rebate to buy one, but I might still be waiting till next Christmas Grin ) . Previous one was a Kenwood but I found it difficult to remove the bowl.
This one is a better shape (and I know I can get parts for it)
Going to give it the Maiden Voyage today !
