No one actually likes sprouts, do they? I mean really?
Everyone has them because 'it's traditional' and 'it wouldn't be Christmas without sprouts'. Not because 'sprouts are delicious, I would eat them every day if I could'

The tradition is just propaganda to fill the coffers of Big Sprout.

So let's all just say no this Christmas. No one will mind. Honest.

We went to my DSis for lunch boxing day many years age when my DNiece would have been about 6. She eat all her sprouts and kept going up for more but after the 3rd visit her dad said she had to eat some of her meat and potatoes first. She is now 20 and doesn't believe me when i remind her as she says she hates them.

I don't mind them and DD1 absolutely loves them! DD2 don't like anything that even remotely resembles a vegetable!

I love them and so do our two dc Xmas Grin. We roast them with olive oil, or bang them in a pan with pancetta, chestnuts and ginger. Delicious!
