Right, can I ask some advice here? (wasn't sure whether to start a new thread or not). We have a fair bit of mistletoe in the garden and I'm thinking maybe I could sell it off (far too much that we could ever use despite my trying ). So, should I create a little stall outside in my front garden? If so, how could I write a sign/leave it out so it won't get ruined in the rain? I have a plastic circular garden table Hmm . Should I take some to my local newsagent and see if they'd like a bag for a few pounds to sell or is that a bit odd?

ICanSeeTheSeaFromHere · 18/12/2013 13:22

Reastie I can't see any harm in asking. Perhaps you could also speak to local florists (maybe too late for this year, but there is always next year too).

If setting up a 'roadside stall' make sure the wind won't blow it all away! A wooden sign (any old wood, paint and twine) would be ideal. If you varnish it it will help to preserve the writing.

ICanSeeTheSeaFromHere · 18/12/2013 13:23

Also pop a wee for sale sign in the local church/town notice boards etc.

theladywiththegreennails · 18/12/2013 14:02

FIFA 14 £29.99 in sainsburys. They also had loads of their Xmas gift sets half price.
Wilko have started their sale on crimbo decs & new look has loads of bags half price.

CaptainHindsight · 18/12/2013 14:06

Boden dress here

£13.60! Bought one for the DSM and one for myself

Sleepstarved · 18/12/2013 14:11

Thank you for the sack tips, got one. Had to go out to real life shops, god it's a fortune parking, feeding kids, coffee ect.
Don't want to do that again.
Very last thing I need is three nice little pots on a tray to plant my telegraph blueberry plants in as a gift. Have not found any bargainous ones.

Nix01 · 18/12/2013 14:13

Niceglassofsherry, thanks but it says the code has expired.

CadenceRoastingByAnOpenFire · 18/12/2013 14:27

Still had no contact from The Body Shop Angry. I should probably start a new thread but does anyone know where I'd stand legally/whether trading standards/an ombudsman would be able to help me? I'd ordered some gift sets from Body Shop but an oil burner turned up in their place. I can't get through on the phone and they haven't responded to my emails despite me receiving a generating email promising they'll be in touch within 72 hours. Panicking a bit in case it doesn't get sorted and the sets aren't here by Christmas.

I've very nearly finished, just my brother now and haven't a clue what to get. Budget £20-25. I really wish I'd bought the cinema package a few threads back, would've been ideal. But I dithered and then it was sold out. Any ideas?
