True reastie Blush didn't think of that! slightly over excited about these soft toys

Maybe if someone manages to get one for DD to post on here immediately? At least others will be aware that I have them. Is that a good idea? Or any better ideas?

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 11/12/2013 20:53

Spoke to them wrt the Glamour mag subscription and the Body Shop gift...they've completely run out of the body shop sets but were happy to try and arange something else...they're sending me 3 Essie nail polished instead and have kept me on the list so that if it does come back in stock then I'll get one anyway

AuntieMaggie · 11/12/2013 20:57

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece I don't think they can send nail polishes through the post so you may have to collect them from somewhere (I seem to remember some people on here having issues with that)

H&M have got some clothes half price in their sale - I've just bought a couple of jumpers for me Blush

MooseyMoo · 11/12/2013 21:03

Funky Going from the prices on Ebay, you could be millionaires if you get lots of bear & hares!

I'll prob be up from 5am as DS teething at mo so can cover early morning stock check Xmas Grin

ihatethecold · 11/12/2013 21:09

I have a budget of £15.
Where should I buy a Lego Star Wars set?
I'm hoping you bargain hunters can help me.

hoppingmad · 11/12/2013 21:15

After your help with ds I am seeking tips again please Smile
What do I buy my wanker ex from the dc's?. he is NC (his choice) was an abusive bastard and plays mind games with the dc's.
He has sent them a gift & card for Christmas despite ignoring their letters. His gift will be cheap shit as he only spends money on himself.

Soooo what can I get him that the dc's will think looks good but is actually crap and costs next to nothing? Thank you Wink

GlitteredPinecones · 11/12/2013 21:35

I've just used a code for £10 off at Yours clothing when you spend over £30, code- GOPHERAW. Have to be a new customer or use a different email address Xmas Wink

Funkybutnot · 11/12/2013 21:39

Thank you mooseymoo very kind of you.

Hope your DS teething improves soon.

SomePeopleNeedHelp · 11/12/2013 21:40

hoppingmad, good advice from MN is to take them to Pound shop, give them a quid each and let them choose.

LucyTheValiant · 11/12/2013 21:44

Has anyone seen any good offers on men's slipper boots?

Also does anybody have any ideas for stocking-filler type presents for a 17 year old boy who likes football, Joey Essex Hmm and history? I am despairing.

hallowisitmeyourelookingfor · 11/12/2013 21:44

Can anyone help me find a Gruffalo bath towel please? I'm all out of ideas. Doesn't have to be bargainous :)

Theonlyoneiknow · 11/12/2013 21:48

Any ideas for an 8 year old girl? Approx £10 ish? Thank you! mine are only littles

Taffeta · 11/12/2013 21:52

Those Klutz books I linked to above Theonly. Also this one is lovely.

LucyTheValiant · 11/12/2013 21:53

hallow they sell them at John Lewis but they are not bargainous!

hallowisitmeyourelookingfor · 11/12/2013 21:53

Don't know if this has already been mentioned, but Tescos had boxes of 'grow your own venus fly trap/cactus/other things' plants today, from £7 down to £3.50 - they come in a reasonable sized box for a good stocking filler. Picked up a couple for the DDs.
They were down the Christmas aisle, after all the biscuits and chocolates but before the tableware etc.

Taffeta · 11/12/2013 21:54

Gruffalo towel

hallowisitmeyourelookingfor · 11/12/2013 21:55

Oh thankyou so much Lucy, Thanks hadn't thought to check there but have already got an ongoing order with JL ready to place this evening! I normally just do the click and collect as we have a Waitrose at the end of the road, but this time I will get free delivery :)
It's definitely not bargainous though, I agree Xmas Grin

hallowisitmeyourelookingfor · 11/12/2013 21:56

All done Taffeta, thankyou! You lot are so good at this game!

LucyTheValiant · 11/12/2013 22:00

Blu-ray boxset 10.95 The Hut

Mellowandfruitful · 11/12/2013 22:07

hallow I just bought a grown your own giant beanstalk tonight! They were on display near the till. There were some monster plants too which kids might like Xmas Smile

PopGoesTheWeeble · 11/12/2013 22:08

Thank you so much for the bear and hare image back on site alert Moosey, is it bad that I am now almost peeing myself with excitement at the prospect of them coming back in stock before Xmas?!! Grin

Kipsy · 11/12/2013 22:09

I went shopping this morning for some stickers (the first thing on DD's list for FC) - and ended up buying a car boot full of other stuff. Blush

There were two kinds of liquid timers in Tiger stores for £3. Would make a nice stocking filler.

Spotted some awesome fancy dress wings (in gold) for girls/boys at H&M, can't seem to find it on the website atm, in fact the website seems quite empty.

Have been searching high and low for a nice artificial tree that's also bargainous - around 4 ft. Any pointers?

CadenceRoastingByAnOpenFire · 11/12/2013 22:26

LucyTheValiant, I remember seeing a bargainous book on the Book People site earlier today called The History of the World or something and thinking it looked really interesting. Would be great for someone into history. I think it was written by Prof Brian Cox, could be wrong though because I was skimming through quickly. Can't remember how much it cost but it was in the sale and definitely a good price. There are also codes upthread for discounts. I think it was RUMBA for free del and LORDS for 15% off.

TheOnlyOneIKnow, my dd age almost 8 and all her friends are all into My Little Pony and Monster High. If you shop around there are some good bargains to be had. I managed to get a Monster High doll for £6, t shirt for £4 and a My Little Pony train set for £11 and castle for I think £14. On amazon they had a novel for around £6 and on eBay I bought a DVD for £2.50. This was going back a few weeks though.

LucyTheValiant · 11/12/2013 22:27

Thanks Cadence, I will take a look!
