Morrisons are doing Xmas China cereal bowls. I think they're £1.50 but ours never has any in stock and nor does the one near BIL.

Funky my local JL is out of hares. I'm going to another one tomorrow so will look there. They do have a cute cave set up which shows the film & the DC sat on (plastic) logs to watch it. It was the first time any of us had seen it. When is it on TV?

Auntiebaba · 05/12/2013 20:11

MooseyMoo Thanks for the tesco code

Gladvent · 05/12/2013 20:11

The curse of the bargain-hunters vomiting child has struck our household too. Still at least I had a bargain Brave DVD to save the day. Now that we'll be housebound for a while I'm getting the urge to order more stuff coz I know we'll be in when the parcels arrive!

AuntieMaggie · 05/12/2013 20:12

neddle · 05/12/2013 20:47

Sorry Rhonda, the free coffee was from Pact, but I can't find the link or a code to get a free one any more.

Funkybutnot · 05/12/2013 20:53

Thank you covered very grateful. We have seen it twice on TV, maybe it will be on more with the run up to Christmas? My DD has watched it a lot on YouTube though. Smile
We are going to our nearest JL a over the weekend as they are holding the book for us and hope they have anything that takes DD fancy! I have never been been this desperate for a certain toy before as DD has never loved anything with noise until now!

Yama · 05/12/2013 20:56

Bumper day today - bird scarf, finger lights and owl bags. Smile

WannaSplitAPineapple · 05/12/2013 21:00

buddy i saw the filthy animal tshirt in our local market. I was just walking through on my lunch so didn't pay particular attention. At least then you can see the quality.

Guitargirl · 05/12/2013 21:06

Funky - I bought the last three rolls of Bear and Hare wrapping paper in John Lewis in Stratford last week and have just seen what prices they are going for on ebay. Someone is asking £150 for 5 rolls of wrapping paper and some tags! Shock

They had no gift bags left in John Lewis in Stratford or Oxford Street. They had plenty of the shopping bags with the John Lewis name on it but not the actual gift bags. I was looking for one to put the DCs PJs and things in on Christmas Eve. My Mum was going to John Lewis in Cardiff today so I asked her to have a look for me and she found the last two gift bags there after being told by all the staff she asked that they were out of stock. Anyway, have just spoken to her and she reckoned they had lots of Bear and Hare mugs and other things in the Cardiff John Lewis - including the bear (but she didn't see the hare).

BuddyKringleberry · 05/12/2013 21:08

Thanks for all the 'filthy' suggestions, would be great to see it up close I'm going to try and squeeze in a market visit x

Auntiebaba · 05/12/2013 21:28

Absolutely gutted. My son is getting dollars for Christmas to go to New York next year and I saw a great exchange rate the other day so took out some cash to get them for him. Just been checking my online bank and have just seen I withdrew the cash from my credit card instead of my debit card. Not a great deal anymore! The bank refuse to do anything despite never having done this before and both debit and credit cards are with them Sad
