My bird scarf arrived!

500internalerror · 05/12/2013 16:47

Can any box of awesome people help? I got another box today in the post, but the previous ones I've always collected (on the understanding that it cost money to have it delivered). I clicked the link in an email to say I wanted one, heard nothing more. Then this one turned up. We didnt give any card details when we signed up, did we? I can't work out how they've sent it without me signing up for delivery Confused

Picturesinthefirelight · 05/12/2013 16:49

I've bought a tassimo hslf price in Argos

The latte pods have the milk in them so I've also bought americano if he wants to add soya milk

Hope he liked it & it doesn't become a gadget that just gathers dust.

easylife73 · 05/12/2013 16:53

Does anyone know where I could get blank voucher books, you know, the kind where you promise to do something for the recipient if they present you with the voucher? The only ones I can find seem to be to offer sexual favours Blush but I want them for the kids!

LottieAndTheDinosaur · 05/12/2013 16:54

AuntieMaggie yes the bird scarf shows as Robert Mobell on payment card.

Re Squinkies - are they the type of thing a 6/7 yo girl would like? yes I know we've been over this before but I'm paying attention now!

Badvocatyuletide · 05/12/2013 16:58

Easy life...how about a book of postcards from the post office and then you can decorate them and personalise them as you wish?

:)

issynoho · 05/12/2013 17:02

Box of Awesome seem to have abandoned their dropbox deliveries. I checked when I clicked their link and got one through the door. Could have been Box of OMG (same thing but girlier).

MooseyMoo · 05/12/2013 17:07

JustCallMeBaldrick · 05/12/2013 17:39

I don't know if this will be of any use, but my local garden centre which is part of the Garden and Leisure group had loads of Playmobil at half price today Smile
Not sure if it's across the whole chain, but might be worth a look if there's one near you!

CadenceRoastingByAnOpenFire · 05/12/2013 17:56

lottie, it's doing that to me too! Stupid bloody site Grin.

JustPondering · 05/12/2013 18:25

500internalerror my box of awesome was delivered to me also, no idea why, but my sister's was too.

DrankSangriaInThePark · 05/12/2013 18:25

Lottie- squinkies- abso-bloody-lutely. Get thee squinkied!

RhondaJean · 05/12/2013 18:27

Does anyone know if the flavourly code is still working? And has anyone had the December box, is it any good?

I'm thinking of one more box for DHs bargain hamper - so far it's got the October flavourly box, the fattoria freebies, some spicery sale bargains, some chocolate oranges and I'm going to get a spiced orange crannies, winter blend kopparberg etc.

LaTrucha · 05/12/2013 18:31

Has anyone seen any Batman costumes for a 4 yo at a good price? Really shouldn't buy them any thing else but if it was a bargain, I could be tempted

neddle · 05/12/2013 18:32

Rhonda does he like coffee? There was a site offering a free bag.

insanityscatching · 05/12/2013 18:34

20% off at Superdrug on orders over £20 with CHRISTMAS20 and free delivery for orders over £10.

Dogmatix34 · 05/12/2013 18:35

Anyone seen any bargainous sledges? Get caught out every year when the snow comes!

RhondaJean · 05/12/2013 18:42

Yeah the free coffee would be great - anyone remember what it is?

I am also increasingly desperate for Xmas bowls for cereal for the DDs. I've tried tesco, matalan, sainsburys and Asda without luck. I'm sorely tempted with the Spode Xmas tree ones from amazon but they are a bit pricey.

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 05/12/2013 18:46

I think I may know someone on here in RL - my boys just got a Toucan box, and DH had a Spicery subscription for his birthday. If she is waving finger lights when we go over next time, I will KNOW!

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 05/12/2013 18:47

Morrisons for cereal bowls? I'll look in ours tomorrow. They seem to have everything else, including gravy boats.

BobCrotchstitch · 05/12/2013 18:48

dogmatix you may as we'll save your money as we finally bought DS one this year so it is guaranteed not to snow Xmas Grin
We got his in Wilkinsons and it was £8. Not exactly what you see on the Christmas cards but perfectly serviceable and less distance to fall off Xmas Grin

pettyprudence · 05/12/2013 18:56

ooh my bird scarf and my toucan box turned up today. Really pleased with both. I might actually carry on the toucan subscription after exhausting all free possibilities

Dogmatix34 · 05/12/2013 19:01

I know Bobcrotchstich! Think that's why I never buy any for fear of jinxing it
