Not sure if this has been posted as I've lost the ability to keep up at this stage but Amazon has the Dilbert box calendar reduced to £6.59. Bought them last month for much more, sigh.

Sorry to report Funkybutnot, but I have been harassing JL via facebook and twitter, and their standard response seems to be "sorry, sold out due to high demand, won't be getting any more stock"

I am gutted too, DS is 2 and that it the first ever (and only!) thing he has asked Santa for. I even saw them online a week or so ago and had to wait for bloody payday to roll round to buy them!!

Hope you manage to track some down for your DD

You could get very close to that JL hare by using this free teddy bear sewing pattern and swapping in rabbit ears, attached further up the head (you'd also need to piece in some white fabric to get the markings on the nose and belly, but that shouldn't be hard).

Amazon have the Lego hi speed chase (60007) for £11.99 instead of about £27

Wh Smith have another Lego city 'starter' set - 60023 - for half price in store (not sure if online too - I'm out shopping in real life so haven't checked. £13.50 instead of £27.

There is a brass quartet band playing carols here in the shopping centre. Tis very festive. Might need to find some brass band carols on you tube to listen to when reading this thread back at home to remind me of the hell that is the shopping centre in the run up to Christmas...
