Oops! Posted too soon! They want to spend their hannukah money on them but our local sainsburys doesn't have them in stock! I looked online and can't find them. Is it in store only?

WannaSplitAPineapple · 01/12/2013 14:27

Oh Buffy thanks for the asos code. I've got a sleeping DS on me at the moment so can't order my coat just yet but I'll be straight on it when he wakes. I knew my card details off the top of my head with all the buying I've been doing from here but the silly bank sent me a new card and I haven't memorised the details yet.

I'm so jealous of all the Christmas duvets. DH drew the line at that. The best I could get was a throw.

MooseyMoo · 01/12/2013 14:33

Well, the Fairy door was a hit. However my DD is still waiting for the fairy to appear [tchconfused] I am now thinking I will write a note saying she's moving in but is shy and will stay hidden but will look after DD at night to keep away her bad dreams.

Meanwhile I will be manically trying to track down a fairy...

I'm going to unearth the Curious George Christmas DVD. Just have to remember where I've hidden it!

Darth Vader storage case for £7.36:

www.amazon.co.uk/Star-Wars-Darth-Vader-Large/dp/B009KT6GBO/ref=sr_1_42?ie=UTF8&qid=1385910176&sr=8-42&keywords=lego+storage

Nice and big to bulk out a large sack (there's a cautionary tale in there for all of you with very little ones - when you buy their 'santa sack' be aware that for the next umpteen years you'll have to fill it otherwise it'll look a bit sad and pathetic, so don't get massive ones! Better to have a smaller one and have pressies spilling out as though Santa couldn't fit them all in! We've learnt the hard way!)

ClaimedByMe · 01/12/2013 15:09

Oreocrumbs my sister brought me one of these back from Harrods maybe too small but cute.

ClaimedByMe · 01/12/2013 15:11

It also comes in many colours including the harrods green.

TeamSwitzerland · 01/12/2013 15:20

Madame, there is a £5 voucher in the sun newspaper magazine today xxx

Katz · 01/12/2013 15:47

Everybody - thanks, I was tempted by the cheese and wine set fr my mum, she only eats sheep cheese and the little gift box looks so lovely I'm hoping one of the proper hampers would too.

IHeartIona · 01/12/2013 16:00

Theimpossiblegirl Grin thought it might be!

Mipe · 01/12/2013 16:17

Moosey our fairies only come out at night so dd has never seen them but they do leave her little notes or presents outside the door (eg a little sticker) :).

TheBuskersDog · 01/12/2013 16:19

Has anyone else had problems using the code on ELF, I keep getting adding of voucher code failed.

TheBuskersDog · 01/12/2013 16:24

Have just read the details and there is a minimum spend of £20 on ELF to use the discount code.

3bunnies · 01/12/2013 16:52

Mipe Our fairies are very shy too - they only come when you are definitely asleep. Pearl the tooth fairy is probably the most confident and she will almost always be lured out with the promise of a tooth. Barbara is much more timid. She is a bedroom fairy but is scared by messy bedrooms, she will sometimes come to collect pictures (which she miniaturises to take back through the door to fairyland) but only if the bedroom is tidy and she somehow knows whether they have tidied it of if an adult has- the smell of a room tidied by an adult is too nasty - unless the adult had lots of help. She usually leaves chocolate - but don't tell Pearl.

AliceinSlumberland · 01/12/2013 17:20

Ooooo I need a 2ds, I wonder if our sainsburys will have any, as ours is a rubbish little one. Anyone know of any other deals?

neddle · 01/12/2013 17:21

So dd has now said she wants a furby. My parents haven't got her much yet, so thought they could get her one.
Looked at very or isme the other day and they had them for £48 and I was going to do the £30 off £60 spend thing.
I'm looking now, but neither site appears to have them any more :(

Help! Where's the cheapest to buy them now?

DrankSangriaInThePark · 01/12/2013 17:22

Oh deary me, I've been awol for a whole 24 hrs as we are in the middle of huge storms here and everywhere is flooded (there is water puthering down the stairs outside the flat door!!!) and more importantly NO INTERNET and thus no bargains! Have been v panicky but it seems to be back now

I tried to order some stuff from Debs yesterday but the bastard MasterCard secure thing kept not working. Abandoned it in the end.

SpottyChristmasCakes · 01/12/2013 19:01

I have snail and whale plus two owl necklaces BlushGrin thank you for the suggestions though. I'm buying dd a tangle teezer brush after another almighty tantrum when her hair needed brushing me they're trying to charge over £6 postage!!

Oreocrumbs · 01/12/2013 19:17

Thanks for the advice on the bags! There is a pink butterfly version of the harrod's bag reduced to £13 and I really like it so I think that is what we will get.

I've emailed the links to my little brother for approval, and made 2 phone calls. The second of which went along the lines of:

Me: Have you looked at the bags yet - shall we get the pink one?

Him: I'm STILL at work. I'm climbing around in the roof. Do you really want me to look at bags.

Me: Ok then, I suppose not.

Him: I'll have a look when I get home.

Now this was hours ago, and I'm still waiting. Honestly when it comes to business priorities that boy has a lot to learn [tchwink]
