26th thread

If lost then see message 2 on the first page for the codes/info collated from previous threads (to save slow loading for those using phones).

If you spot any of these links or codes not working please post on the thread in bold so I can’t miss it or pm me Thanks

My 2 sets of finger lights for me have arrived! 5 days before the supposed cut off time. All working perfectly and they are fab. Thanks to whoever it was that originally posted about them Thanks

I'm really trying not to buy anything else now, but can't keep away from these threads... Grin 'The twitch' has cost me massively this year Blush

LaTrucha · 30/11/2013 14:16

Why oh why are there no octonauts clothes anywhere?

santandhishappybandofelves · 30/11/2013 14:22

Ah sorry fpr posting in wrong place. Sold them on fb

MrsLoveBucket · 30/11/2013 14:25

Auntie Maggie - can't believe someone is selling that on NOTH for £12! Antique bronze 'style' lol

I'd be pissed off if I bought it then saw on amazon.

LaTrucha · 30/11/2013 14:30

What about this then. Bargainious finger lights? I think not.

missmakesstuff · 30/11/2013 15:04

Thankyou for the Boots code, the Tesco code and the other bargainous things- got 12 bottles of red for £60 - so far, waiting to see if the 25% comes off now, plus 3 sanctuary sets of three small body butters for £10 - brilliant for TA presents and for some of the ladies in the office who it is important to keep sweet...

I NOW HAVE EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, well sort of...need a present (woodworking or woodcraft book) for my dad and another craft book/set/course for my mum, plus need to actually get everything out of the cupboard and make the hampers....also have 7 mugs to make and decorate and some little dishes/garlic graters I am making for small 'anyone who gives me a present I didn't expect one from' gifts. Oh, and need to make savoury biscuits AND chocolate stirrers and a camembert cooking dish for my friend AND think of something to get DH for his 40th in January..plus finish his date night hamper and his foody hamper...

Ok, ignore earlier comment.... keep the bargains coming....

Argh, this thread isn't working on my phone, hasn't been since yesterday afternoon, I can't read past the title Confused. At least it seems to be working on the pc :)

Thought I'd finished buying for the dc but a trip to asda for milk last night resulted in a bargain Weird Science kit, Cozy Coupe and Peppa Pig set being added to my ever expanding gift pile Blush. If anyone's interested, the science kit was £5, the Crazy Coupe was £25 from £45 and the Peppa Pig set (it was the dancing studio but there were others reduced too) was £6 from £14. There were a few Peppa things reduced actually, I think a set of 3 figures was £3/4 and the little plush toys were £3. Can't find links to any of that stuff online, must be instore only.

Does anyone know if there's any way to get around delivery charges with The Works? Went through to checkout, had my 30% off with the code given above (thanks to whoever posted it Thanks) and was planning on having it delivered to my local store for free, as you can with most sites. Option not available with The Works though, has to be delivered to your home :( I think there's free delivery if you spend over £10 but my books come to £5.49 with the discount and I really don't want to buy more stuff for the sake of it.

RatherBeOnHoliday · 30/11/2013 15:35

My monkey nail dryers have arrived and was going to give them to friends children as presents to go with some other bits - however there is no packaging or instructions to say what it is. I'm not sure they will know what to do with it!

shewhowines · 30/11/2013 15:45

Any l'occitaine codes please?

EduCated · 30/11/2013 15:56

Real life shops are HORRIBLE. I'm lay on the settee recovering. Not sure why I thought it would be a good idea.

Thank you for the cracker suggestions, given me a couple more ideas! Got a mini tape dispenser á la Paperchase, some pretty tea lights and some funky sweets. Less panicky than I was!

CrocodileScream · 30/11/2013 16:10

Talk to me about chocolate stirrers missmake! What do you stir them into? How do you make them? They sound perfect for our CEH.

Kipsy · 30/11/2013 16:42

I just braved Lidl with my little DD in tow.
RL shopping is just .
I saw some lovely bargains there. I went there just for the toasting waffles and some jam and came out with a basket full of Christmas themed chocs and nuts.
I saw chocolate stirrers there too - I dare say you could make some by pouring chocolates into icecube trays and popping in some coffee stirrers once half-set?

Kipsy · 30/11/2013 16:43

*pouring melted chocolate

lazzaroo · 30/11/2013 17:25

Sorry I can't remember who was asking, but I've been thinking about getting this seed box for the bargain seeds. It's the cheapest I've found...

www.amazon.co.uk/Garden-Trading-Small-Seed-Storage/dp/B007RM2OV2/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1385832074&sr=8-5&keywords=Seed+box

or could add some of these and not bother with the box, just an extra to bulk it up a bit..

Arse. Ds1 has finally written his letter to Santa, including an xbox game, a toy and a 3ds game I have never heard of (Lego Breakout?) Not any of the things that are currently on top of the wardrobe!

pettyprudence · 30/11/2013 17:50

for anyone looking for seed tins and is near a home bargains, they have lovely tin ones for £2.99, also tins of garden twine for 99p and tin tea cups (can't remember price of those). nice vintage style.

Theonlyoneiknow · 30/11/2013 17:54

Does anyone know best place for bargainous cellophane?

NorbertDentressangle · 30/11/2013 18:00

BLACKFRI gives 10% off purchases from I Want One Of Those including their Deal of The Day which I've bought for DS - a Bayan Audio Bayan 1 ipod speaker dock.

It's reduced to £29.99 so with the code its only £26.99, free P&P (seems to be at least £50 elsewhere). Has good reviews too.

AnnaBegins · 30/11/2013 18:03

I think REINDEER or RUDOLPH gave free delivery for The Works, might have expired though

Weknowwhoyouare · 30/11/2013 18:14

The Primark letter bags would be great for the DC library books but we are nowhere near one and have done our shopping trip now :( anyone seen them cheap anywhere else? £5 on eBay Shock

VesuviusPoovius · 30/11/2013 18:17

I've been trying to explain the concept of The Twitch to DH, after having dozens of some parcels delivered today. Apparently I promised last month that I'd bought Christmas and was done Grin

MrsAFlowerpot · 30/11/2013 18:23

Sure I just posted this but no sign of it!

Tesco have the Samsung Tab 3 for £119. Using code TDX-NHW4 brings it down to £99 which is v good.

Reastie · 30/11/2013 18:40

zipzap eewwww, can you imagine going into someones house and that being their shower gel dispenser?! < hopes zipzap doesn't have it at home >. I don't think I could do that to his wife! Off to look at Hawkins for Secret Santa ideas.

OP posts:
TheOneWithTheHair · 30/11/2013 18:41

Vesuvius I thought dh would go bonkers today as we had 4 deliveries by 12.00. Then we had one more in the afternoon but he's not said a word. I don't know what's up with him. He always says I'm spoiling the dcs when he sees the spoils on Christmas Eve and then agrees how well I've done on Christmas Day. Grin

500internalerror · 30/11/2013 18:46

Petty, those tin cups are 1.99 (not that I've been tempted you understand.......) Grin
