Sigh... DD's schol have just announced that the kids can wear a Christmas jumper at their dinner for a £1 fee. I don't really want to buy her one but don't want her to feel left out. Does anyone know of a super cheap one I can get online? Sigh again... thanks.

Krispy kreme are doing a gift card for £10.95 which gives 1 donut a month for a year.

InTheRedCorner · 29/11/2013 14:36

la I just searched through the bin for you and fished out the Matalan brochure I received today. They have festive jumpers from £6.

DrankSangriaInThePark · 29/11/2013 14:38

Matalan also doing £5 off £20 I spotted on HUKD

JustCallMeBaldrick · 29/11/2013 14:45

Are there any current Book People codes please?

LaTrucha · 29/11/2013 14:49

Thanks RedCorner. £6 would be ok. I wish the school wouldn't do stuff ike this? Don't they know I am assembling a present mountain?

Good present on Groupon for any hard to buy for over 8s-to adults. Lego Life of George is £15 instead of 30. This has got rave reviews everywhere, its a Lego game for the iPad/iPhone. You get a small backboard and lego with it, download the app, and get set challenges you have so many seconds to perform- a picture of a house you have to match, etc. You can play against others online from what I understand.

I've ordered it for my 29 year old BIL, been watching for it for ages but it never goes lower than £28ish. Last time it was on Groupon it sold out the same day. Anyone who would like a referral for Groupon, feel free to PM me, I would earn a few pounds from it, but everyone probably already has an account anyway!

LaTrucha I was in Tesco today and saw a cute penguin jumper for £9 but came home and ordered it online with 25% off so £6.75 delivered free to my local store.

Reastie · 29/11/2013 15:41

Right I need mn to the rescue. Have my secret santa name. It's a young ish (I say youngish, probably mid 30s) 'trendy' IT teacher type of man who's into sport (football that I know of, probably others too) and quite blokey. He has a 1yo DD.

Any ideas? I've just bought the 99p joke christmas apron from amazon. Also got christmas loo roll Grin and will give him a christmas cracker, small bottle of wine, chocolate santa, and home made mince pie for the daily token gifts. Just need an up to £5 final gift. I'm drawing a blank.....help!

Baldrick I posted two codes for the Book People last night - ANGEL for free delivery and GOLD for 10% off. One of them (sorry, can't remember which!) expired at midnight last night but the other one should still be working.

LinzerTorte · 29/11/2013 15:55

ANGEL should work until the 30th.

Reastie · 29/11/2013 16:02

Sorry if this has already been mentioned but ordered this coffee machine for pils, it's already less than half price, but also in clubcard boost, so was just £12.50 of clubcard vouchers

LinzerTorte · 29/11/2013 16:27

Baldrick If you're spending over £25 at the Book People, AFSPARKLE should give 10% off or if you spend over £40, AFSHINE will give 15% off. Plus, as I said upthread, ANGEL for free delivery.

Reastie step AWAY from the mistletoe!!!

LaTrucha do you have a plain jumper? Or pick one up from a charity shop, get some felt and cut into Christmas tree shape, wonder web or sew on and ta-da. Cheap easy Christmas jumper.

Sillybillybob · 29/11/2013 16:55

Reastie thanks for asking. He has a bog standard fever so is generally fine if a bit under the weather but is immuno-suppressed so a temperature = automatic admission to hospital for several days on antibiotics which make him extremely unwell.

Have a pre-planned Christmas shopping trip tomorrow though so am trying to feel festive.

Reastie · 29/11/2013 16:55

Really pogo , I wouldn't mean anything by it!!

Really want to get him a christmas onesie as think that would go down really well (in a jokey way) but can't find one anywhere for £5. Can any bargain hunters manage a mens christmas onesie for a fiver?
