Oh gosh! I am not buying the a Thornton's hamper. No way. Really must not!

My coffee machine has come despite saying it wouldn't come until Christmas Eve.
I shall be ODing on caffeine shortly Grin Brew

Oreocrumbs · 26/11/2013 10:41

Thornton's hamper bought! Now how the hell am I going to make that last until Christmas? Grin.

snowgirl1 · 26/11/2013 10:42

joymaker the Aldi christmas stocking that I saw (I wasn't the one that posted about it) was a chunky knitted stocking in red & white, scandi design and approx. 40cm long. I'm hoping to get to Aldi later today, so I'll have a look again and confirm my description if I do make it to Aldi. Sometimes the special buys in Aldi go really quickly, so if you have a friend down south it might be worth asking them if they could buy it for you.

I have a one-time use ebay code for 10% off your purchase of £30.00 or more up to £100.00 off in Pushchairs & Prams, Nursery Decoration & Furniture, Car Seats & Accessories, Baby Carriers & Backpacks.

Discount does not apply to P&P, pm me if thats useful to anyone

zipzap · 26/11/2013 10:47

Speaking of magazines, there's a playmobil magazine with a free 'exclusive' person on the front. Might be a good one for a stocking filler if you're doing playmobil stuff as presents. I think that the current one is a knight with lots of bits on but that will probably be swapped for the next issue quite soon (this week?), no idea what it will be, but gives you a chance to get two different issues

Fabulous bargain website

Just got myself some super bargains in the toys section.

meerschweinchen · 26/11/2013 10:48

Notso Grin that's so funny! If only babies had off switches!

I don't know if anyone else has different amazon accounts, but I've sometimes ordered from the German amazon. I've seen that amazon.de has different Black Friday deals from the English one. Think someone was looking for in- ear headphones - there's some of those on offer later today for example.

TooWetToWoo · 26/11/2013 10:53

Just had no less than NINE parcels delivered! Blush

The postie said "I bet you think it's Christmas!" Grin

AmIGoingMad · 26/11/2013 10:57

TeaAndCakeOrDeath · 26/11/2013 11:00

TeaAndCakeOrDeath · 26/11/2013 11:05

oxcat1 · 26/11/2013 11:21

Somebody further up the thread posted their referral link for Little Bird. Just to let you know that I used it and made a purchase, so hopefully you will be getting some cash back or something?

Thanks for the site - hadn't heard of it before.

kiwidreamer · 26/11/2013 11:53

Does anyone know if I order something for $25USD from Amazon.com will I have to pay import taxes? I'm getting desperate for my Jedi Force figures and they seem to have them on Amazon.com, will have to pay intl postage but just not sure about import tax if its under the £34pp limit imposed by Boarder and Customs.

TeaAndCakeOrDeath · 26/11/2013 12:11

Final update because I'm sure people will be sick of hearing about my trivial jumper woes but I chickened out and accepted a £10 refund!

Also, looking at getting DS1 a bike for his birthday in January, maybe one of those wooden balance bikes, he's quite tall, do you think one of those be ok? And more importantly for this thread, has anyone seen a good deal on one?! Or should I wait until January sales?

TheSlug · 26/11/2013 12:19

hi all, does anyone know of a good place to get a cheap, large bag of bead for an older girl's jewellery making hobby? I've bought lots of funky ones on eBay, when all together they look like a really tiny present, so hoping to bulk it up?

thanks!

scotswoman · 26/11/2013 12:20

Are there still M&S vouchers around or die to come out? I had a 20% off one I was going to use before it expired yesterday but got stuck in the house waiting for a plumber after a flooded kitchen incident and it was instore only. Very frustrating but bargains all the more necessary now :D

joymaker · 26/11/2013 12:21

Thanks for the info snowgirl and that's lovely of you Thanks- knowing the width would be particularly handy as I'm wondering if a lot of the 'stocking presents' I've bought for the DC are possibly too large to fit in an actual stocking Confused

wonderingsoul · 26/11/2013 12:25

tesco have deal on coffe machine.. im sure they had the one amazon was offering yesterday for £49.99

they have another to for £60.

zipzap · 26/11/2013 12:41

Anybody seen any good deals on Calvin Klein's Eternity Soap? My mum wants some as hers has run out, but it's not just that I can't find a good deal, I can't find it anywhere, worried they have stopped making it!

DrankSangriaInThePark · 26/11/2013 12:49

Eternity perfume is on offer on all the cheap perfume sites IIRC- as are most Calvin Klein ones. I haven't seen the soap though. Reckon you would have to try John Lewis or a big department store. Have you tried ebay?

MrsLoveBucket · 26/11/2013 12:53

Zip zap I can see the Eternity soap 100g on eBay but it's £35 (not sure if that's really expensive or a good deal as like you say I can't find it anywhere else!)

It's coming up on the eBay app but for some reason not on the website

zipzap · 26/11/2013 13:22

Thanks for the eternity stuff MrsLB and DrankSangria - unfortunately mum already has two bottles of perfume waiting to be used (people know she likes it so whilst it's easy for my sis and me to co-ordinate to make sure we don't both give it to her, last year she got some off not one but two friends, so don't want to add to the stash!)

And £35 sounds a lot for soap - don't think it was usually that much. Plus I'm always slightly suspicious of buying stuff like soap off ebay. would prefer to think that I'm getting it from a credible site so there is comeback if duff stuff turns up!

Will have to venture out into the cold world of not-so-bargainous real life shops. [scaredy cat smiley]

derektheladyhamster · 26/11/2013 13:27

Just been emailed a £25 off a £50 spend at the body shop. I'm not sure if it's a personal one, but I won't be using it so:
