Thanks

Our JoJo's was only doing the lucky dip at the till, so you aleady had stuff ready to pay for. I only got 10%, but it was a really cute jumper that DD chose for DS for Christmas. And at 3 you can't really understand waiting for a bargain online!

I wouldn't call this a bargain as such, but if you spend £200 on links of London at Beaverbrooks you can get a £150 pair of diamond earings for free. So if you need 2 very generous presents....

CatAmongThePigeons · 10/11/2013 21:23

Mootime AC860 should give 20% off and free delivery. Smile

DreamlessSleep · 10/11/2013 21:25

Tiny yes I think it'd be fine for that age. Might need help with some of the puzzles though. (I do!)

HavingAnOffDAy · 10/11/2013 21:35

I almost got through today without getting a parcel but then our lovely Hermes delivery driver turned up this aft with a House of Fraser parcel. Phew Grin

Can I have some help with the book people please? It seems to not accept gmail email addresses? Anyone else having trouble?

missmakesstuff · 10/11/2013 21:40

I can't remember who was looking for brown paper but Poundland had some, also the 99p store, which had 10m rolls - I got three, plus a pack of candy canes, now with the ribbon shop link and some pizza bases to make into printing blocks for DD to use my wrapping is sorted...

If someone does get the HelloFresh box can they post what the ingredients/quantities are like? I have worked out with the code and czshback it is about £12 for the first one, but still I am so skint stingy and DH has a good appetite that I can't work out if it will be good value or not..

ValiumQueen · 10/11/2013 21:48

Revoltin I am googlemail and gmail also comes to the same address. Try putting the full googlemail in?

RevoltInParadise · 10/11/2013 21:54

So type it in as [email protected]? Sorry to be dim!

InTheRedCorner · 10/11/2013 21:56

Oh and full time out of the house job and 3 DC - I am a swan with an iPhone!

InTheRedCorner · 10/11/2013 21:57

That was t the poster that asked if we are all unemployed because the thread runs so fast, we are all organised and skilled multi taskers Smile

Mercythompson · 10/11/2013 21:59

Has anyone else reached the stage where if an amazon order stays for a while at 'item not yet dispatched' it feels like a sign you shouldn't buy it and should cancel the order?

Or is it just me Blush and a sign of how much time I am spending on these threads and amazon?

girlsyearapart · 10/11/2013 22:09

glaikit my 6 year old girl is getting a cabbage patch doll & a crayola spider for her main presents.

She is into anything one direction, Lego friends, anything crafty or making, hello kitty err can't think of anything else!

jamtoast was it you I was asking my friend about the Disney code for?
Anyway it's a 25% off voucher which starts next weekend.

We read the voucher & it seems that it can be used multiple times in store and once online.
It isn't clear whether you can use in store as well as online.

She's using it in store so if you can hold on till sometime next week I can pm you the code to give it a try?

loueyt · 10/11/2013 22:11

There are some great deals on Lego Star Wars at Amazon - Republic Gunship £73 reduced from £109 and X wing £33, AT-TE £47 from £79.

www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=lego+star+wars&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Alego+star+wars

Sorry if link doesnt work - not too sure what I am doing !!

Opheliabumps · 10/11/2013 22:17

I just showed DH the whisky stones as a possible gift for a friend as well as my bil, he declared they look like urinal blocks, so I'll give those a miss then Grin

I need help with a bargainous, stylish hat or two. One for a colleague with cancer who's lost her hair, and another for my lovely friend who is shaving her head in support of the colleague, ideally warm, stylish and amusing, but not joky, if that makes sense?

Also would like some stylish PJs/loungewear/cashmere socks type thing to go into a chillout hamper.

MrsLoveBucket · 10/11/2013 22:18

I think my postman hates me with all the packages he's had to lug to my house. I'm considering a present for him for Christmas Grin

MrsLoveBucket · 10/11/2013 22:21

Tiny, I've played all the Professor Layton games and they are definitely for boys and girls. They're great games. Some of the puzzles stumped me though Blush

Mama1980 · 10/11/2013 22:22

Mrslovebucket- find out if your postie has children, I got my postmans children a present last year to say thanks and he now is super chatty and cheerful with me plus he leaves parcels when he shouldn't cause he knows I can't drive right now. Grin

Playmobil 123 Ark on Amazon for £13 as mentioned above is a HUGE bargain. Got it for DC2 last year for Christmas and paid £20 then, thought it was good value!

acsec · 10/11/2013 22:32

Can I ask what exactly the blood juice is, please? I'm awaiting the Flavourly box too and am confused as to what to expect!

Anyone got the Fisher price rattle yet? I signed up ages ago.

mrslovebucket I always give my postie £5 in a card, not a fortune but if 1 in 10 houses on his round do it, he'll make a fair whack!

notso · 10/11/2013 22:42

acsec it's a cordial, it has nettles in it and I think other herby stuff. I don't know what it tastes like and can't decide whether to put it in the hamper or not, same with the posh baked beans and the seeds. I really was hoping for more bacon jam and bacon popcorn but hey ho!

notso · 10/11/2013 22:45

mrslovebucket my new postman is horrible but the old one was lovely and I gave him chocolates for Christmas.
The myhermes man is leery and I think he needs his eyes testing. I told him I'd almost finished shopping so he wouldn't be visiting daily anymore, he said he would miss seeing me in my PJ's!
