Have to jump in re ISME. I used the £30 off code and while you do have to open a credit account, it did allow me to apply the code (as a credit customer) but pay for the order via card. They do take the full price amount from your card however and they refund the £30 once the order has been dispatched. My order consisted of 4 items which all got sent out separately. The £30 was refunded shortly after I received the 3rd one.

glenthebattleostrich · 13/11/2013 16:51

Dandelions, my local co-op had some wonka bars when I was in last.

Mipe · 13/11/2013 16:51

Dandelions I think the Wonka bars were in Poundland? Also I would recommend the pop up book in the OP, it is fab! :)

siblingrevelry · 13/11/2013 16:52

dandelion we've bought winks bars from tesco, but sure I've seen them elsewhere too (but can't remember where)

zipzap · 13/11/2013 16:55

dandelionflowers 5 is a great age for roald Dahl books - to be read to if not able to read them on their own yet. The book people have a box set of his books (at least ten, maybe up to 15 books) for about £15-16 which is fab value when just one of the books is about a fiver. It would be a great present and the book people are running all sorts of offers this week...

siblingrevelry · 13/11/2013 16:55

Winks bars? You know what I mean!

JustasmallGless · 13/11/2013 16:57

urban decay naked eye palette

10% so £33.30
plus 4% cash back via quidco

zipzap · 13/11/2013 16:58

Forgot today in previous post that the roald Dahl set included Charlie and the chocolate factory as that's the one you're specifically interested in, as well as it's follow up, Charlie and the great glass elevator.

dandelionsRflowers · 13/11/2013 17:00

Thank you, I will investigate. I do remember seeing them in an American sweet shop but they were way too expensive. Ah yes, the book in the OP, I did look at that when it was first posted but didn't think dd would be interested.

Do I try to make a golden ticket to put in the bar or would that be cruel as there's not actually a chocolate factory near us to visit nor the real thing

JustCallMeBaldrick · 13/11/2013 17:01

Calling all Zhu zhu pet experts!
I picked up my bargainous puppy pack from Tesco, but I'd like another pet to go with it. I'm assuming the different pets (ie puppies and hamsters) can use the same sets, or are they really specific?
The reason I'm asking is that the puppies are stupidly expensive, but the hamsters aren't!!
TIA

notso · 13/11/2013 17:01

dandelionsRflowers there are Wonka bars on Amazon, as well as gobstoppers, nerds, runts and laffy taffy. There is also a pop up version of Charlie and the Chocolate factory, it's about £10 on Amazon but I'm sure I've seen it cheaper elsewhere.

ColdCadence · 13/11/2013 17:06

JustbecauseIcould I had an email from Matalan for £10 off sports footwear including Nike, Adidas etc trainers. I've a feeling it's a one off code so I could pm it to you if it'd be any use to you (I'm not going to use it). I've never sent a pm before and can't see a way to do it on my phone but I will have a bash on the pc later if you're okay to wait till around 9pm for it. The code is valid till 30th Nov.

stripes1 · 13/11/2013 17:07

New Crew code: WIN05 for 15% off and free delivery.

Have just got the catalogue for 'The Handpicked Collection' but delivery £4.95, does anyone have a code for free delivery (hopeful!)

Chocolateteabag · 13/11/2013 17:08

Kungfu
Please do complain to Amazon - they should send a courier to collect the broken toy from your house. We ordered a trailer for DS's ride on tractor and they sent 4 in a huge box. Had to collect from Citylink depot as was day before DS's birthday and as I'm 34 weeks pg wasn't going to struggle to a collect plus to drop it off. They collected by DpD in 2 days.

If you are up front that you can't easily get out to return an item sent in an unacceptable condition, then i would expect they will do the same.

dandelionsRflowers · 13/11/2013 17:08

Wow, Nerds, I loved them. I'm going for the pop up book for Christmas, then the Roald Dahl set for her birthday. I bloody love this thread, had so many bargains from it, I come up with a random idea and there are so many people ready to help. Thank you all.

FairyJen · 13/11/2013 17:10

dandeliom I got dd a big wonka bar off eBay last year which came with a golden ticket. It had a voucher code for a free online game or something but she loved it and ate it for breakfast

Only cost about 99p iirc

JustbecauseIcould · 13/11/2013 17:15

That would be great cold Thanks

I really appreciate it Smile

SugarplumKate · 13/11/2013 17:16

They have wonka bars in Asda, bought 3 last week!

muddymarvellousdarling · 13/11/2013 17:16

I'm looking for a 6ft pop up Christmas tree (with decs./lights) that doesn't cost £30 +

I know Argos have it for £29.99, but it this the cheapest? for DS1s house

TIA x

ColdCadence · 13/11/2013 17:18

Also, whoever was looking for angel gifts, I think it was cuddlymoomoo? I also have a friend who likes all that and last year I bought her a book about angels from the Works, very reasonably priced. Also, have you seen those wallet cards that have poems on, they sell them in card shops and in some supermarkets in the cards section. I've seen one with a poem about angels. And in another card shop (Card Factory?) a lovely little angel brooch for around £2.

muddymarvellousdarling · 13/11/2013 17:18

is Grin

LaTrucha · 13/11/2013 17:27

No luck with the Rapunzel puzzle in Matalan today. Sorry.

Theimpossiblegirl · 13/11/2013 17:27

ZhuZhu info
The hamsters will fit through the puppy sets but the bigger puppies have been known to get stuck in the hamster sets.
:)

notso · 13/11/2013 17:27

£26.99 from Studio muddy

stripes1 · 13/11/2013 17:30

Has anyone ordered the £1.39 hand puppets on the OP? How long did they take to arrive? It's estimating delivery between 27th Nov and 23rd Dec and I can't decide whether to risk it or not!
