Some great bargains, thanks. I'm looking for really cheap (like £1) gifts for dd's friends (aged 12). Will take a look at some of the Amazon links.

Barbeasty · 12/11/2013 08:45

The tidlo railway is compatible with the brio one, so anything that can be put with the brio one would match.

AmIGoingMad · 12/11/2013 08:48

Thanks barbeasty!Thanks
I'm so hoping it'll come back down but it seems to be creeping up!Hmm

DrankSangriaInThePark · 12/11/2013 08:50

I have got the Murad bit between my teeth and just sent them another stroppy email in the spirit of BargainGate, pointing out that in their cancellation they told me it was oversubscription to offer, now they are telling me it was because I was not allowed to stack codes, and yet the stuff which they reckon had run out continued to be on sale on the website all week, and when someone on here (can't remember who) rang their CS they were told that as one of the offers was linked to a magazine they could be used. And I still have no bloody refund!

Chockywockydoodah · 12/11/2013 08:51

Spotted this "rude wrappings" 70% off & BOGOF Xmas wrap deal on HUKD this morning.

Something a bit different and good for a laugh for those who don't mind a bit of bad language!! Use code HAIRBARE13 for 70% off, BOGOF on Xmas paper, tags & cards -all orders wil be doubled.

mootime · 12/11/2013 09:13

Hello lovely ladies. Still in baby prep mode and need to do an M&s shop. Kicking myself for missing the 20% day. Anyone know if any codes I am use today?!?

Neena28 · 12/11/2013 09:23

Whittards have sent me a code by email of 3TEAS1113 for a set of 3 loose tea jars with a spend over £50. I used a code thats now expired the other day and it also allowed me to add the november gift too. You have to enter the code and manually select receive the gift on both the loose jars and the november caddy one. I know £50 is a lot but thought might be good for people doing hampers.

Pachacuti · 12/11/2013 09:25

Who was it looking for a science kit for her DD? Zulily have a bunch of Ein-O science sets in starting from today.

Neena28 · 12/11/2013 09:28

So sorry i have totally messed that up!!! The code above is for twinnings!!!! Gah!!! So thats a £30 3x jars of loose tea for a £50 spend. Code 3TEAS1113

Whittards is free teas of the world set (worth £20) with a £50 spend code is JOLLY. I was able to use this one with the november caddy too. Or they have a free spice imperial tin (worth £5) with a £20 spend code GIFT.

Sorry for the confusion. I will go away now and let you lot do your thing without me confusing the job!!

Cheap x box controller cover 92p with free delivery. Nice stocking filler for Xbox fans who like to mod their stuff.

GardenWorm · 12/11/2013 09:36

Code JL63 seems to work on sale items for Debenhams to get an extra 10% off (I've only tried it on knitwear)...

happymummythesedays · 12/11/2013 09:42

Would those Dalton kits be any good for a 6 year old girls birthday or have they grown out of fairy tales?

JaquelineHyde · 12/11/2013 09:45

Off in to the real world for some shopping now

Yesterday at Sainsburys I saw that the wooden toy garage is still on sale at £11 ish and they had half price tassimo coffee machine half price.

Sorry if these have been mentioned before I have been busy celebrating DS1's 8th bday and haven't had a chance to scan through.

I will update later with any deals I spot whilst out.

TheOneWithTheHair · 12/11/2013 09:47

I'm off to Wilkinson's in a bit. Apart from parcel paper, what should I be looking out for?

OnlyGirlinmyHouse · 12/11/2013 09:53

For anyone that has got their DCs a tablet for christmas, i have got my son one of these for the Hudl - tablet case

The company who make them have a facebook page, and there is a competition on at the moment to win a case and there will be more competitions in the run up to christmas apparently. Thought it might be of interest to some competition here

NeverQuiteSure · 12/11/2013 09:57

This isn't a massive discount off RRP, but would make a nice gift for a 3 year old, especially if you team it with a cuddly owl (I picked up a lovely one for DD in Poundland of all places!)

Owl Babies book and DVD, £5.09 delivered

Lowest price according to camelcamel, and not stocked by The Book People etc.

Speaking of The Book People, Tom Kerridge's Proper Pub Food is available to preorder now. Dispatched from tomorrow. I paid £7.19 with free delivery by stacking one of the 10% off codes with a free delivery code. I'm going to team it with some of the more obscure ingredients used as a gift for DH.

Hawkmoth · 12/11/2013 10:09

I saw some lovely woodland decorations in Wilko but they weren't cheap. And I have been told not to buy decs yet.

ThisIsMe - sorry just back from school run/doctors trip! Have had a look and yes looks to be working in large box at top of page

craftynclothy · 12/11/2013 10:41

Anyone else still having problems with Hearst or am I the only person stupid enough to try and argue instead of ignoring ? They are giving me some random link to a page that says "12 month minimum contract" Confused so I have sent a ranty angry email back asking her to fecking prove I was given that page when ordering, a link to the T&Cs I agreed to, asking her to prove I received the wellies (good luck with that, they also have an email from me asking when I might be likely to receive them), reiterating I am giving the required 28 days written notice and threatening to go to Trading Standards (not least because there is a subscription renewal offer in the latest mag with the exact same terms and conditions so they clearly do this a lot).
