Oh god spotty teacakes I feel your pain - today I had the dreaded present mountain falling out of top of the wardrobe moment, DH looked Shock but didn't offer to help in any way... and I'm 15weeks PG!

Willemdefoeismine · 11/11/2013 11:44

I don't think I've ever been so motivated with my Christmas pressie shopping - it's a good way to spread the cost as well.... I think we might be living on baked beans on toast for the rest of the month, mind you....Grin!

Just wondering what everyone will be doing in December......buying stuff for next year or loved ones' birthdays......?

greedygoose · 11/11/2013 11:47

Thanks theonewiththehair - I am being fussy - am really after just brown wrapping paper as I have my eye on some lush ribbons from hobbycraft!

Trazzletoes · 11/11/2013 11:57

I've just checked my email for Figleaves codes. Can't see any current ones but I think I've deleted some in the past week or so... They are always coming up.

SpottyTeacakes · 11/11/2013 12:01

I seem to have gone a bit crazy this year but it's all bargains so no worries...

Also yves rocher have redeemed themselves by telling me to keep the duplicate order they sent me for free Grin

Apparently it's the turning on of the Christmas lights in gunwharf this Friday. All these Christmas ads are making me feel very festive!

mootime · 11/11/2013 12:04

Thanks Trazzle. I'm torn between ordering or waiting for a code. I go in for my section on Monday next week and I need a couple of new feeding bras! I'll hang on a bit I think. I HATE paying full price for anything now!

Oh and Ocado have buy one get one half price on loads of toys especially playmobil.

mootime · 11/11/2013 12:06

I know what you all mean about the present mountain. Sadly mine has gone from on top of the wardrobe, into the spare room and under the stairs... I have bought FAR too much. I will keep some of the smaller bits for the present drawer though and we always donate £100 or so worth of presents in memory of our son, so some of the stuff can go in that pile.

AllIWant85 · 11/11/2013 12:08

DrankSangria Thank you, thank you, thank you, that worked! Grin

AmIGoingMad · 11/11/2013 12:10

OP posts:
Ihopeyoudance · 11/11/2013 12:32

mootime 20freedel gets 20% off Freya and Fantasie at figleaves until midnight tonight. Not sure if that is any help for nursing bras though!

Ihopeyoudance · 11/11/2013 12:36

And free delivery with that code too obviously

OodaresingingoftheDoctorDonna · 11/11/2013 12:37

Ilove click watch and it over rides hide.

I keep missing the hide & squeak eggs :(

Ilikesweetpeas · 11/11/2013 12:41

I know home bargain can be hit and miss with stock but just got some lovely BaByliss hair accessories (for myself!) 39p each. Would suit teenage girls / adults.

Hawkmoth · 11/11/2013 12:41

Very frustrated. I'm in bed with a sleepy baby and 1) heard heavy things come through the letterbox 2) there is a Christmas Bargain sale on near here with a gift shop liquidating I think. It started 41 minutes ago. I need to be there!!!!!!!

Reastie · 11/11/2013 12:41

Thanks for that Ihopeyoudance that's useful for me as I need a new bra :)

I've just had three different deliveries turn up at the same time!! A Royal Mail van, a parcel force van and a yodel van! All needed signed for too, I felt like in was a celeb with them all wanting my autograph! GrinGrinGrin

MellowMarshmallow · 11/11/2013 12:52

Amazon have got half price Barbie Mega Bloks - check reviews first though as some sets better than others.

DrankSangriaInThePark · 11/11/2013 12:54

AllIWant- you're very welcome Smile Now you can help me get motivated to do mine!

I am torn between scanning eleventy billion old pics of my Mum's family and her growing up and doing a book of that, or dd pics.

I know that, given I have already got her a canvas of dd and a calendar I should do the old ones....it's just the thought of all the scanning puts me off.

MellowMarshmallow · 11/11/2013 12:57

And anyone looking for a presents for a toddler?

This Scramblebug is half price, £19.99 instead of £39.99, but it only seems to be the ladybug which is reduced by that much.

AllIWant85 · 11/11/2013 13:10

DrankSangria do you have a box of yummy chocolates? For every 10 images you scan eat one chocolate! Grin

Alternatively if you have 14 days to do it (as per the offer), spend 30 mins a day for the next 12 days scanning, then the last 2 days arranging the book. 30 mins isn't long is it?

Or just think of your Mum's face at Christmas when she sees it...

That should be enough motivation for now! Wink Grin

Trumpton · 11/11/2013 13:13

My finger lights arrived. All intact and working.

MellowMarshmallow · 11/11/2013 13:18

Right, finished my bargain hunting for the day - here's my best finds:

  • B.I.G. Hands - Was £24.99, now £12.99 - Jumbo hand so you can pretend to be a robot.

  • Red Rover Game - sure I have heard this advertised on the TV so must be a recent game - was £24.99, now £12

  • Chameleon Crunch was £19.99 now £6.81 - we have this and ds2 (6y) loves it.

  • Huge Smoby water track was £63 now £31.50 - I have wanted this forever for ds's

  • Hobbit Figures were about £8 I think, now around £2. I got these for ds1 as he loved LOTR and we haven't watched Hobbit yet. Figures came last week and look great. Bilbo is tiny so that he is proportion with the rest of the characters.

MellowMarshmallow · 11/11/2013 13:20

And while I'm here - I'm after a chunky candle, like Yankee but cheaper, that is for a boy, so either I want it to smell like sweeties, or be a bit manly (not sweaty sicks). Any ideas?

QueenofClean · 11/11/2013 13:21

The packs of finger lights I ordered arrived this morning and they all work :)
