Gadget the Robot - is it really irritating? And also, I have the Little Robot to give DD 3 - does she really need Gadget as well?

Picturesinthefirelight · 07/11/2013 09:34

I need to spend another 2 pence at amazon to get free delivery - any ideas?

notso · 07/11/2013 09:40

Just got my proper box of brew from Beer52, am splitting them and the first taster box between BIL and Dad, along with some flavourly stuff bottle openers and pint glasses from a local brewery. I think it will be a great gift.

Christmas Decoration bargains spotted yesterday - Aldi has packs of 4 small sequin or glitter baubles for £1 in purple, gold, silver and bright pink, and Tesco is doing 3 for 2 on Christmas decorations at the moment.

Mum2Pea · 07/11/2013 09:43

oooh I finally have something to contribute!

izzybizzybuzzybees · 07/11/2013 09:56

Free standard home delivery at m&s with the code MEGADAY2 . I had bought a dressing gown and slippers yesterday in store so have reordered with the 20% off. Tried for collection in store but it wasn't available for my items. I just hope it arrives before I go into hospital next week!

Kipsy · 07/11/2013 09:59

Pictures buy something from the grocery section that you use at home, will save you buying something you don't need!

Got a cancellation email from hotcrazydeals so panic is over.

Annoyingly Murad have cancelled my order - very polite man on the phone told me you can't stack codes even though the website let me Hmm

parrotsandcarsnips · 07/11/2013 10:18

lottie yes Musical tins are still half price in m&s until sunday, they also have lovely chocolate truffles half price too at £3 perfect size for hampers or teachers. I damaged the packaging of mine as put them beside wine so looks like I might have to keep those ones!

SpookyRestingFace · 07/11/2013 10:18

I have just ordered this lovely Christmas elf from Zulily for £8.99 plus postage. It's biggish (40cm), don't know if it would be good for those wanting to do elf on the shelf?

DD got the Mary Christmas rag doll last Christmas eve and adores it. They're very soft and squishy and lovely.

And not creepy like some elf dolls Grin

Arohaitis · 07/11/2013 10:35

if anyone still has an ELC code I would be very grateful for it
thanks

LottieDidIt · 07/11/2013 10:37

great thank you parrots oh dear what a shame you will have to keep those truffles!

Henrietta yay I'm glad the princess castle has come down in price for you! DD saw an advert for it and has asked for it - she will just have to make do with the happyland stuff I have bought her instead!

milk · 07/11/2013 10:50

20% off online using promo code HC39 @ Debenhams

(Sorry if said before)

HenriettaPie · 07/11/2013 10:51

Thanks Lottie I'm so glad it did too! If it didn't get reduced today I was just going to get it in the argos 3 for 2, but there's no other toys I need now, I would have just been buying other stuff for the sake of it!

Now all I need is a scooby doo fish tank for DS and that's my two sorted! Smile

ValiumQueen · 07/11/2013 10:55

Marking place, and thank you Reastie.

craftynclothy · 07/11/2013 11:00

Angry Hearst being a pita. Got this fairly generic response

Thank you for your recent email.
I can confirm the terms & conditions of the subscription are:
An initial 12 month non-refundable contract applies. Unless written notice is given before the end of the initial term, the subscription will continue as a rolling 12 month non-refundable contract.
I trust this has clarified the situation.

So I've sent a rather snotty response back directly quoting their T&Cs, that they make no mention of 12 month minimum, that they clearly state 28 days notice only, that they clearly refer to the subscription renewing every 6 months indicating a 6 month rolling contract and that I trust they will now cancel my subscription in accordance with the T&Cs I agreed to at the time of sale.

craftynclothy · 07/11/2013 11:00

btw has anyone managed to send them a screenshot - it seems attachments don't get through. I said I had a screenshot.

LalyRawr · 07/11/2013 11:06

crafty I just cancelled the DD with the bank. Does that not work? Am I meant to contact them?
