Coveredinweetabix · 09/11/2013 21:57

LaTruncha - we got DD a Peppa nightlight/torch in Argos last year. It lasts all night (actually two as we discovered when we forgot to charge it one day). Now that DD is out of nappies at night and gets up to do a wee, the torch bit of it has come into its own as she sets off with her torch to go to the loo. They do these things in just about every character you can think of.

TooWetToWoo · 09/11/2013 22:01

Loving all the Christmas adverts on the telly. Apparently the Coke truck one was on before, I missed it Sad BUT that means it's now officially Christmas time Grin

Told DP we can put the deckies up tomorrow now, he wasn't impressed!

Joycey29 · 09/11/2013 22:03

TooWet! I am so pleased that I m not the only one who sees coke as the start of Xmas! Wine

iloveblue · 09/11/2013 22:05

Pooh - missed the Amazon Furby reduction again. :-(
Does anyone have the Smyths toyshop code that was mentioned somewhere, I cant find it.

Rosie29 · 09/11/2013 22:06

Does anyone have the fisher Price Disney castle? I think my dd who is almost 3 would love it but I am worried it will just become a forgotten pink plastic monstrosity. She is dc 4 so we have a reasonable amount of junk as it is! Any experience greatly appreciated!

TooWetToWoo · 09/11/2013 22:06

I saw on FB that it had been on, and went and changed into my Father Christmas leggings from Primark that I've been saving Blush

They're really cosy though Grin

InTheRedCorner · 09/11/2013 22:10

The finger puppets arrived today and they are brilliant, such a bargain!

Finger light company have emailed back saying they will refund 10% Grin that is a 4 pence refund heading my way!!

The school also arrived this morning and it looks great although I think the bell may need to get lost after the first day.

PoopPoooDeDooo · 09/11/2013 22:15

PoopPoooDeDooo · 09/11/2013 22:17

TooWetToWoo · 09/11/2013 22:17

Don't spend it all at once now InTheRed

You actually reminded me that my Christmas style finger puppets from ebay came today and they're brilliant too. Christmas finger puppets £1.70 free delivery.

Pogosticks · 09/11/2013 22:20

iloveholidays that nerf gun price is great, thank you! Just ordered one for DD's special friend's birthday, I wanted to get him something epic and he'll love that Grin

flouncymcflouncerson · 09/11/2013 22:22

InTheRedCorner · 09/11/2013 22:35

sibling I bought those CDs for DD I assumed they came with the books seeing as I was ordering with the BOOK people like a read and listen but they are just the CDs - just a note for others.

InTheRedCorner · 09/11/2013 22:37

Ignore me. I bought the set 2kids lined to and I really should have paid more attention Blush

2kidsintow · 09/11/2013 23:04

Thanks for Furby links. DD really didn't need one, or hasn't even asked for one (she's seen the £60 price tag in Tesco and said herself it was "too expensive") so she'll be surprised to open that on Christmas day.

I'm pleased I've saved more than £20. :) :)

AuditAngel · 09/11/2013 23:06

Ok, I know that last week someone had had Abel and Cole codes for a free box. I have 3, but you need to be a new customer.

Last week these went quickly.

AuditAngel · 09/11/2013 23:09

Next week Boots have their Christmas shopping events, my 3 local shops are all Thursday. Get £12 of points for a £50 send.

2kidsintow · 09/11/2013 23:10

Yes. Only cds in the audio book sets. Definitely worth noting.

AuditAngel · 09/11/2013 23:11

By the way, I took 3 days off (due to DS having rehearsals and DH being off on a friday night) and the thread grew like Topsy.

Great work

Slainte · 09/11/2013 23:15

notso Clinton cards had some letters in their online sale.

HenriettaPie · 09/11/2013 23:19

In sports direct today I seen a 3 pack of men's lounge pants for £15. There were 3 different packs, two were superhero themed (batman, superman, iron man etc) and one was taz, bugs bunny and Sylvester (I think)

Excellent price as usually one pair in the likes of tesco are £12/£13
