Janx I have made a huge kilner jar of damson gin and blackberry vodka and have got some sloes and gin ready to do another one. I want small bottles so I can decant it for presents. I want some for myself too! Haven't managed to find anything small cheap enough yet but will have a look in the supermarket and see if there is something I can pinch the bottle from.

I sampled my backberry vodka this evening. It is bloody lovely. I haven't actually stopped sampling it yet. There's no way this is making it to Christmas.

I had a Furby when they were new. I loved it. I asked DD what a Furby was today... To gauge enthusiasm. "Er, I forgot" was the reply. I am NOT buying one.

Wilkos did kilner style bottles last year in a pack of 6, might be worth a look? Cheap too.

I am definitely doing the vodka again next year, with plenty for me this time. I bet it would be good with tonic or sparkling wine. Such a shame I don't have any in....
