janx I bought 150ml vinegar bottles from jamjarshop.com last year, and just removed the vinegar sprinkly thing from them. The lids are a bit ugly, but the bottles are a decent size so your home made liqueurs stretch a bit further (and there might be a bit left for you that way), and they were a v good price.

Lounge pants look great but 4.99 delivery does not :-( won't manage to get to a store before I'm in for surgery so gutted about that!

SurvivalOfTheUnfittest · 10/11/2013 00:02

Worth noting just the cds in the Julia Donaldson audio thingy, but we've got all the books so I was pleased with it anyway.

I've just made the quickest £80 in the history of the world on a local facebook children's toys etc.. buying/selling site. Now feel better about the money spent on ds1 and ds 2 as has offset it somewhat. May have to put a sign up for visitors saying, "I have not paid full price for any of this lot, before you pull a cat's bum face at me, and I've sold a load of old tat too to offset what I have spent.' (Reading backwards from where I got up to earlier).
Just seen the post about the Salvation Army. In addition, your local children's hospital ward will be in need of presents for all the inpatients on Christmas Day (and that is very close to my heart just at the mo). Also, our Children's Services Team usually has a Christmas collection going on for children in families where they won't get much of a Christmas (and I'm sure this happens around the country too). Ds1 and ds2 have really enjoyed going to the Sainsburys toy sale and choosing something each to put in the collections in the last couple of years and I think it does them some good to learn that not everyone will have the same lovely things as they will at Christmas. I tend to buy things for it throughout the year when Sainsburys reduce stuff by 70% and then shove it up in the loft. If I don't know who I am buying for, I can buy things cheaply and put together a bigger set for my money.
(This is not meant to be a blowing one's own trumpet post - just sharing how I do it to hopefully have maximum effect in case it encourages anyone else ). Smile

SurvivalOfTheUnfittest · 10/11/2013 00:14

And finally.. Debenhams' biggest annual sale starts online tomorrow at 6am and then in store on Tuesday. I found last year it was best to go and browse and then come home and order online with extra online bonus discount.

IHeartKingThistle · 10/11/2013 00:56

I'm off rl shopping today Shock

I'm going to jojo - what's the best online discount I can get 15%? So if I draw less than that I won't bother.

Going to use my bodyshop £3 vouchers if I see anything worth buying.

Also going to use my 25% off in ELC need the apron and oven glove set and some paint pads, hope they have them as it's a small one.

Have m&s still got the tree tins today? Will get one of those too.

(So if anyone in Chichester sees someone with a bored dp, two unruly dc and a tree tin it's me Grin)

Spotty I think the half price tins finish today. My tip is to try it to make sure it works. I bought one last weekend that didn't work. They exchanged it no problem but was a pain to have to go back again. The manager told me they had sold 600 last weekend so I think they are going to be very popular as presents this Christmas!

MooseyMoo · 10/11/2013 07:51

I'm going RL shopping as well For me its GAP (with 30% off voucher), and Toys R Us (with 20% off voucher - HSAVE20NOV ends today)

Going to Primark, Poundland, Boots and Hotel Chocolate too. I'll be the nutter skipping along, child free Grin

Furby boom straight stripes £33.33 on amazon

TooWetToWoo · 10/11/2013 07:58

Minecraft toys at the Entertainer. I've just got a Creeper soft toy, went through topcashback and used code NVBRCL to get a 5% discount so it came to £7.60

Ordered it to store, says it'll take 1-3 days.

SpottyTeacakes · 10/11/2013 08:01

Oh yes pound land too ours is small and full of undesirables Hmm

Thanks for the tip will make sure it works (stupid question are they in food dept or special Christmas section? Ours is food downstairs and home up)

Rhinopotamus · 10/11/2013 08:07

Ours is just a food shop and they were on a display at the front as well as next to all the tills. So I would say probably the food bit.

SpottyTeacakes · 10/11/2013 08:11

Thanks rhino. I'm unreasonably excited Blush

TooWetToWoo · 10/11/2013 08:14

Picked up a tree tin yesterday, it was in the food part. They didn't actually have any out so I asked someone and they came back with a cage full of about 8 boxes with them in. It's so nice! Definitely worth picking one up if you can.

Reastie · 10/11/2013 08:25

Love the festive ads on tv :)

We went out and bought a christmas tree yesterday (to beat the crowds by doing it early. When we got home we assembled it just to make sure it was OK and DH said to me in all seriousness and looking slightly worried 'you don't want to put it up with all the decorations yet do you?' I think he can read my mind . I am being strong and will wait for December 1st.

The personalsed face clothes linked on OP are down in price to just £3. I got some last year and they were lovely.
